totally agree, i waited for ages for it to come out, i resisted chimaira67 attempts to make me buy fifa cos i can't stand it, but i wished i'd have listened to my older and wiser brother, for once he was right bloody absolute cack is pes2008 makes me feel like i'm playing match day ont he zx specrtum it jumps around so much

Can someone please tell me what the hell these framrate issues or on the PS3? Ive played the game on 360 and during play theres no framerate problems and a slight slowdown with celebrations and replays.

So whats the deal with the PS3? People are saying its got serious framerate problems but in which areas? During play? Where? Please tell cause if its that bad ill stick to the 360.

singey - slowdown depends on who you speak to.

I've no real slowdown to speak of in normal play, but the replays are shite.

Cannot vouch for online as i'm still in 'talks' with Sky!

Btw - i'm running it on a lovely Samsung 32" HDTV via bargin priced gold plated HD cable!

As i say, don't just take my word for it. Look round at the plethora of threads on slowdown (ignoring any sarcastic comments i may have made :blush

At the end of the day it's all about personal preference.

You clearly haven't experienced the same level of slowdown as many? Not sure why this is, but it does seem very inconsistant. I for one have had it bad at times.

To answer singey's post I would say it randomly skips frames all the time. It's mainly playable, but at times it becomes a joke, like during tackles or areal battles... 50/50 situations, it just affects your judgement and brings the overall quality of the game down.

I've seen other comments about the difference between SD & HD, but as i haven't seen/played it in SD i can't say for sure if it is the answer.
All i know is i don't notice any lag when playing solo...

Well thanks Kev and ficklered, it does help, ill be playing in HD so im just going to give it a shot, and if its shit ill take it back. 360 seems so smooth, having played that im most probably going to hate the PS3 version, that is of course if it has problems on my TV.

No point mate, there's only 8 or 9 slots for you to save with the Vision Camera. Meaning you can only create about 4 team's kits, and that's only if you leave the GK kits shite. I'm just going to take my Camera back I think, absolutely no point in having it if you can only do a couple of kits. Especially with Other Leagues C where you can't change badges, so therefore can't really make other teams yourself.

I think I'll probably get the Vision Cam. I'll do Arsenal for me and Liverpool for my brother, and I'll do a few faces too. It could be worth having for the future PESes.

I might not get it if someone can finally tell me if it's possible to use a USB. Some say yes. Some say no. But no one has confirmed it.
