Edit Update, help save me £££££'s

Hi All

I'm a bit of a gimp at uploading the edit kits that people have kindly set up on here and seem to be throwing good money after bad trying to get these edits on.

First of all I bought a kit update (£5) off some robber on e-bay, he sent me an e-mail with the link and download instructions I could have got on here for nothing gggrrrr !!!

Found and downloaded gavinsmiths updates (great work Gav) and have both the .gsx and the .bins on my PC. Went out and bought a memory card for xbox360 (£22), then bought a transfer kit to my PC (£8.99) and hey presto ... nowt.

I can back up the memory card to a folder, I then paste all of Gav's updates in that folder and get the PC to upload back to the memory card. I plug it in the 360 and it only shows my original saves.

Anyone any ideas, ... anyone ???

Do I have the right kit?, do I need to buy something else?

I bought the X Sata kit, and have just attached it all and will give it a whirl for the first time. I'll let you know how I get on and if it is the easiest kit to use.
