I have just passed the 1st negotiation round of my second division 1 and yes barca was the nucleus i started with. I have had a lot of good luck with teams offering me swaps. for instance midway through div2 madrid offered me robiniho for iniesta i kept robinho till the end of div 2 then united offered a swap deal for ronaldo.

Other swap deals Anton Ferdinand - Thuram aged 36 puzzled me too.

They're good deals.
I'm middlesbrough and i got Nedved in a swap deal for someone like downing. A lot more swap deals seem to be offered in this game than in previous ones.

I did a bit of Wengering and I got these players. Tryed to get Modric but I wasn't able to.

van der vaart is a free agent in the first transfer window, but he is imediatly bought by some of the bigger teams. i got him from valencia in exchange for luis garcia and some cash... owen came in for mista and cash also, but i think it was just plain luck, i also tried getting messi and a few more of the big names but none of the came no matter what.(i play normal master league dif).
btw he is a great player, perfect playmaker of the team, also takes all freekicks and cornerkicks, superb curve also!!! only bad thing is he gets injured/fatigued pretty easy.
