the patches are excellent,

will the guys that have complained ,please think back a week or so when you were playing pes2008 with horrific kits made by using the pathetic xbox cam , and understand the amount of work and discs these two have put into it, allowing us to make it easy!

ok i have got both patches of theirs and have searched through them,

this is what i have found, i am in no way being judgemental or critical ,but i am trying to be constructive,

imagine you have two beautiful women, they are both equal in beauty, but one has better legs than the other! if you wanted you could swap their legs! you would do it right?

that is the reason for this rant, 2 patches of beauty, some things better in one than the other, imo


ok, premier emblems, blues emblems very good, kees emblems excellent, but as much as i love them both if you want the games emblems to match as you flick through you need blues emblems,
i dont know if i want them to match,i have a choice to make,

kits, both excellent, but kees has the premier league fonts, which you will only notice in a replay when you zoom in,

do you need the fonts? well i feel you do, because when i watch replays i would be a bit peed off thinking i could have had them, but left them out,


balls, kees and blues excellent -leave these alone


boots, its a bit of a mixed bag this one, i love blues boots , but i feel if you could add, kees nike mercurials and his two nikes on the top row (white pair and black pair )
then the boot patch would be great,

menu screens? blues had all the champions league and cup select screens, excellent

adboards blues were very good although the colour was a bit off,
i think this could be fixed,


i know the guys were talking about a music patch, hopefully they will consider it,


so people please bear in mind, these 2 guys are not your relations, they are your friends through this forum, they are doing it for free, and to tell you the truth if someone had offered this patched game to me for £50 i would have bought it, lay off the criticism and enjoy what they had done,

in my opinion only , that is your superpatch, i have already started my santa clause letter

first posts for me, just want to say a big thank you to kees and blue, great work, cant imagine how many DVDs you have used trying to make theese patches.
Don't think a music patch is needed though, it's realy easy to put your own music into the game, just follow Ajay's instructions http://pes4.edgegaming.com/pes08editmusic.html and use the musiclist http://pes4.edgegaming.com/pes08songlist.html

The onlything I had to do different from Ajay's PC instructions to make it work on Xbox360 is the last part(Importing music into the game), just use GGS istead of AFS explorer, open the pes2008.iso click on cs.img, right click on the file you want to replace and click on import a file over this one.

Works perfectly with kees and blues patches, easy to do, takes about 1-2h depending on how many songs you want to convert.

GUYS the ads that blue used in his patch(placars_34.bin) are from stadionpack v1.0 which can be found at evo web in editing pes 2008 section!download it and save pngs from file adboards_38.bin.then import them in file 34 of cv_1.img.
at blue's placars_34.bin file if you press f9 on each of the ads they turn grey but the right thing is to turn black like the last ads(numbers 96,97,98...).thats why they are faded and transparent
you can try it by two ways:1)use file 35 from cv_1.img from the unpatched iso
2)use blue's file 35

I have ran out of dls so PLEASE if anyone has empty discs just give it a try with both ways!!!!!!!!!!

thanks for the comments, all taken on board, Lakissa im working on a fix for the adboards.

Im attempting to make the perfect patch, with music and chants etc...this is very time consuming but im trying guys. The backup is weird, as everytime I add something new something old goes wrong...not good...

I need some advice though...

I have the kit bins for the superpatch and Championship patch, which one do you guys wanna see in my next patch?

im taking the day off work tomorrow to nail this, so should have some more progress and an update tomorrow

I personally would prefer championship teams on the game but thats because i'm a Norwich fan.

blue i know its hard work, if these things were in the already excellent patch would be stunning,

premier fonts
bootpack add kees mercurial blue and black nikes/white stripe to your boots (take out a pair of adidas, not new predators, and white pumas)

adboards

champions league entrance music

sky sports on screen during match

I would like the correct names of the stadiums and teamnames in the patch. I tried it but I couldn't get it to work.

fixed.. works now. its the unnamed_25 which contains the hex edit of the premier league team names changed from north london to arsenal etc etc

i have downloaded and patched my iso but not burned yet as i here it freezes in bits, is there a way to fix it?
