Does any one substitute a player in a human vs human match?

Does any one substitute a player in a human vs human match? injuries don't count... If so, why?

Sometimes. If I'm losing and I think a certain player could help me back into the game, I'll bring him on. Same thing if I need to change the formation to get back into the game (e.g. take off a defender and bring on a striker).

Sometime, usually when I first buy the game, I might bring on young players to see what they play like.

You do know Subs are there to aid you? I do make them when I play against a pal of similar skill. For example I will leave my star man or my paciest man on the bench then at half time I will bring him in and my mate has to adapt quickly or else I can nick a goal. Another one is if I'm winning 1-0 and under the cosh a bit I sacrifice an attacking player for a defending one. Finally when a defender gets sent off I have no other choice but to sub.

Change in tactics. Your hardly going to go 3-4-3 and use your centre back as your leading striker.

Yeah I do quite often, when playing against my brother if i'm handing his arse to him I'll bring on a youngster for one of my seasoned pros just to wind him up.

Sometimes I'll bring on a replacement defender for one who's been booked if the oppo have a pacey striker and the risk of a second booking is there.

Subs are mandatory. Use Pompey with Kanu in the squad & you'll have to change him at half time. Guy's no stamina.

I use it if a game goes to extra time and somebody gets tired, also i sometimes like to change formation so i usually change a few players there aswell

Nope, I never make subs when playing a buddy. Unless I'm kicking there ass, then I put scrubs in to make fun of them.
