How are you managing to keep it cool? My 640mb 8800GTS (stock) is at 64c at the moment, and I have an exhaust blower underneath it.

Might be a combination of my expensive case and my cooling. Mine is at 58c at the moment - supposedly.

Yeah, hopefully by the time it gets too old (or knackered) I'll be onto a quadcore, at least until when their power is fully utilised. Fortunately I bought Vista with the new PC so I'll be able to milk the Direct X 10 goodness, but what's this about frames getting cut in half? I mean that's the only reason why I bought Vista :|

got this game for the 360 played it for about 10mins so far and it all seems a bit Repetitive so far. has anyone got a bit into the game yet? if so dose this ever change, and in repetitive i mean what Killerkey said

"See a person, stun them, shoot them/hit them, they die, you search their body, take their stuff and carry on"

Fantastic game so far.

I rented it out, and it's class. It's got that creepiness as expected. Quite disturbing. But, it's got great gameplay. I haven't gotten too far into the story as of yet, but my opinions are obvious about it, already.

Strange nobody has really posted about their Bioshock experiences. I've just got to the Farmer's Market and it's probably better than HL2 which was pretty damn good.

Take Two are considering the release of a sequel to BioShock in 2010. Haven't played it for a while as I've been busy but I then start to wonder if they'll completely ruin the story. Meh, time will tell.

Same. I can't really find the time to play it.

Playing it through the day seems daft to me considering the atmosphere of it all and everything, and I'm too caught up in my DVDs to play it at night. : o

Wait...
I might start playing it again tonight. It should be even cooler with my new surround sound system. :smug:

Finally completed this after taking a long break of around four months. Glad I came back to it though. The story was good though doesn't leave scope for a sequel in my eyes. Perhaps Take Two will decide on a prequel?

Just getting stuck into it just now. My dad went "You shouldn't watch....play horror things, they're bad for you..."

Haha. Anyway. Just started pretty much. At the bit with the first encounter you have with the little sister.

Reviews have touched on this fact, stating that in essence you're not playing the game as intended - being able to kill in so many ways - if you stick to the few ways you'll find of generally killing most things in a routine manner. Just up to the player's imagination I guess.

Amen to that.

It got repetitive for me at first then I started using various ways of killing the enemies. I am currently at Fort Frolic.
