PS3 Network Problem

I just got my online capabilities sorted out at the weekend there, i managed to join a quick match fine but when i have tried to set up my own friendly game room & send an invitation to my mate then for some reason he can not connect to my room, don't have a clue what the problem is & was wondering if anyone might know what i could try???

I've had the same problem with a few mates, I just think it's one of those things. It either works or it doesn't.

Cheers mate, will just keep at & hopefully will just get lucky...
Its not like a life & death thing, i dont mind playing anyone that will give me a game at the moment as im not to keen to go into a ranking game & getting my arse handed to me without a few practice games 1st!!!

I have the same problem. Were you ever able to figure out how to fix this?
