Does my Xbox360 need to be modified to get the official kits put on it?

Yep you can do it yourself, but you need to open your xbox up and find out what DVD drive you have, then do a search on google. If you arent very technically minded i.e getting windows to pick up your dvd drive, and the flashing with the new firmware, then dont bother trying yourself.

Have a look around for people who flash 360's, you can send your drive off and they will do it for you

get it done here its 25 pound, best service ive used,
only takes 3-4 days after u send it off,

Um no mostly you cant mate due to the fact that its an illegal modification.... and the shop would get its arsed sued and shut down!

Once you ave received your modded Xbox back, what do you do then? Ive briefly looked at the download on this site and it looks complicated is it? can someone give a brief summary of what needs doing?

you can however simply use an option file, instead of the patch... that way there is no need to mod/flash/chip your xbox

If you want the Offical Kits, you need your game Patched, However, you can get some Team kits by using the "Xbox Vision Cam". I haven't used it my self so dont ask me how to use it. But im getting my Xbox chipped, luckily my Next Door neighbour chipped his XBOX himself and he said he will do mine for nothing .
