Help my poor defence!!!

1. close down players as fast as you can.
2. only close down a player with 1 person unless they are in a extremely dangerous position, like 1 on 1 with your goalkeeper lol(dont have 2 people close down one person on the wing! they are probally trying to score a cheap goal by squaring it to the open player and if your sending more than one person to close him down thats less people in the box that cant intercept the ball before they toe punt it into the net.)
3. go into strategy and put your defence back line back and play them more deep until you get the hang of it.

In edit formation press R2 and see if there are any arrows pointing your full backs to go forward and if there are any take them off. It really annoys me when i use a different team in exhibition or something and my full backs are constantly in the opposition box leaving me nobody in defence. Sorry if thats a bit patronising or you already did it but its the bane of my life!
