I actually those Fifa 08 was a huge improvement from last year. The manager mode cannot compare to ML and the gameplay is not even close to PES, but Fifa's gameply improved so much that its actually a decent game. for once you cant dribble through the whole team with one player.

these are the things i hate about fifa:

-through passes dont work
-u cant really do tricks and are not that fun like in pes
-u score the same type of goals all them time
-goal celebrations are boring i always skip them
-the menus are so complicated and the letters are so small i can hardly read them.
-you cant custimize formations online so u kinda have to play with the teams default formations.
-ur online profile is not so significant.
-finally, graphics suck

the only thing good about fifa is the easports trax

My main gripes with FIFA 08? the response times for controls is abysmal... it takes WAY too long to do what you want it to do, player movement is too slow and sluggish. You cannot edit player appearances. EA have a stupid font bug which means players with Smaller surnames have their name in HUGE font on the back of their shirts.... players with LONGER names have tiny fonts!!

Other than that this game surpasses PES2008 by a country Mile.

I gotta agree with that. Even the previous PES versions in PS2 have better fonts.

I was just wondering how do you get points in this game...i want to buy the boots but there like 5000 points. Also is there anyway of putting Modric into the Spurs squad??

You have to do all the challenges and shit to earn points, also winning trophies gives you some aswell if i remember correctly.

Just do a search for Modric in the plyaer transfer section in the Team Management menu and you will be able to add him.
