Looks crap.

You'd expect these graphics from a PS2 game, not a PS3 game. It also looks very 'jaggy'. Doesn't look smooth at all.

And I dont like the passing either.

Thats because games ported to the PS3 look shite. On the 360 it doesnt look half as bad, plus I play the game with Manual passing and its good! Its 10 times better than PES2008 is!

They dont have to look shite, its just EA as always are too lazy to do anything to a decent standard.

you have to be kidding me the game looks and plays great. Maybe doesn't look realistic but players look good. some sort of cg style.

This is the best football gaming experience i've had since PES3. Loved FIFA 08 this year and this is even better. Don't forget this is only a demo so things like cutscenes and replays are bound to be a little laggy. How bad was the replays and cutscenes in the final game for PES2008 ffs!

Can't wait for the release on friday now!

Meh I dont know. No Argentina or FC Barcelona. Think I can wait for Fifa 09 (purchasing my first Fifa in a decade).

well he is there as you play for the qualification of england, and think about it, if england was qualified he wouldn't have been sacked at the first place so it's a bit realistic.

I know, but to be honest I think he would of been sacked even if we qualified.

Its a sweet game, can't get enough of it. Its my first EA footie purchase since 2004. Well worth the price to me. I never bought Fifa 08, instead stuck with pes2008 :( but I'm loving this so far, had some great games online, blue aint half bad at it ;)

If this is anything to go by Fifa 09 will be some game..

If the FIFA 09 gameplay is like this then it will be outstanding. The only two things that bug me about this which are in FIFA 08 are there's no free roam arena and you can't do 5v5 be a pro online.

the free roam arena is the loading part when you run about the empty arena with a player and do whatever you please.

Bought it today - amazing game.

I think the passing is excellent, the tricks are alright, players are good, graphics decent, tackling great.

Shooting is bloody awful though, but it's a nice change from the 9-0 scorelines from PES.

EA ALWAYS MAKE GAMES LIKE THIS.

It's good for a week or so, the new additions seem cool, and the passing is well improved

Then I play Pro Evo again and I realise what EA's games lack, and it's just the end. WHY DID I SPEND £40 ON IT!???!!?!?!
