Anyone own PES2008 for PS2 and PS3?

I have the PS3 version and am really disappointed with the editing limitations, on-line lag, and the lack of a option file for the north american version with 'league c' added. I am thinking about picking up the PS2 version but want some opinions first. How are the graphics? On-Line play? I already know the the editing mode is hands down better... Please let me know your opinions, I'll never switch to FIFA but PES2009 is too far away...

I have both.

Don't play online so can't comment there, although I don't believe it's as lag-y.

Graphics are tolerable - if you look at the faces they're pretty damn crap, but the key stuff - ball dynamics, etc is flawless as usual.

The game modes are much better - World Tour and the Random Select matches are really excellent.

Only major thing missing from the gameplay is the choice of who to send up for corners.
