I'm becoming increasingly frustrated by the fact it seems nigh on impossible to deliver a dangerous free-kick from out wide, say i want to whip the ball in to an area say just outside the 6yard box you'd assume lining it up so would result in the ball going into that area, ohhh nooo!

Unless you aim miles away from where you actually want the ball to go then the ball will just drift to the opposition goalkeeper who will casually claim the ball, it's fucking ridiculous.

Another gripe is the way your free-kick taker appears to get downs the moment his shot hits the wall, oh look it's bobbling back to him, oh look he's just standing there like a fucking retard.

These issues desperately need fixing!!

I don't think your first point is much of an issue to be honest, I just went into Training mode a few weeks back practicing them and after a few I can now deliver in relatively accurate balls. Obviously you can alter the power and whip of these wide deliver free-kicks by pressing the usual buttons (RT etc.)

As for the second point, I haven't really noticed it boldly, I think I can remember it happening on a couple of occasions. Then again though, my shots usually go anywhere but near the wall, watch out if you're in row Z!

I reckon the main free-kick issue would be the fact the CPU always scores them if they're within 30 yards. The only way I've found to combat this is by removing every player from your wall, however who really wants to do this constantly ? It is just totally unrealistic and frankly ridiculously annoying.

^Your last point is the greates issue with freekicks as it would become very annoying. The cpu will almost score every freekick. I also got better at freekicks but sometimes I take a perfect freekick and it hits the wall or it is saved by the keeper for no reason. I think sometimes the game doesn't want you to score (happens on all games though).

Totally agree with both of those points 100%. They're really annoying and pointless issues to have.

i agree, its not just with free kicks tho... sometimes the ball will come to a player who will just stand there..wtf its not fair that when the comp wants a goal it gets one!!
last nite i was 14-0 up with 25 mins to go.. lets just say i didnt see the ball again until the game was over.. possesion ended 65-35 in there favor! luckily i got away with some dreadful defending.
