On PES 5 I used to win freekicks on purpose to score goals.

On Metal Gear Solid 4 I looked on IGN to see how to defeat Vamp.

Hi, my name is Cookie and I cheated on Metal Gear 3 and Pro Evo. In MGS3, I didn't fight the boss battle with "The End" properly. You were supposed to have a sniper battle with him, but instead I just snuck all the way around the map and shotgunned him in the back of the head.
In Pro Evo, when I played my brother using shitty teams we didn't know of, I used to put his striker in goals and his goalie up front when he went to the bathroom.

Wow, I feel cleansed.

Can't remember which pro it is but, when the ball crossed the goal line you could go to replay and every time you went into replay it gave you a goal. I used to win a few matches like this...

On any football game against friends I always look at their controller when it comes to penalty shootouts, even when they try to hide it.

On Metal Gear Solid 3, The End defeated me so I decided to skip time on the PS2 clock instead of re-doing it all.

On The Sims I type in the cheat codes to get hundreds of thousands of Simoleons because I refuse to have them live like poor slobs.

I cheated on Gran Turismo 3 and 4 to turn off all penalties (only on GT4), get all gold licenses and lots of money. But back then, I was pretty crap at the game.

i too have felt the urge to succumb to cheats and guides for various games.
On Pro the biggest sin i have commited is taking autosave off in ML along with this i have what is known as the 'tv stettings cheat'. That is when your opponent is loitering around the penalty box that i stepped on the remote by 'accident' and the settings of the tv appear blocking the view of the events on the field whilst i hold x and clear the ball.
Other games such as GTA are littered with cheats and re attempts.

I cheated on GTA IV by checking a walkthrough to get past a motorcycle related mission. I also cheated on PES when playing against my brother, I put my teams arrows at red and my brothers grey, he did find out but only after I'd whipped him a couple of times.

I also cheated once on Footy Manager by giving my club an extra few million, in my defence though I only played it for about an hour as it wasn't my cup of tea.

I admit that I used walkthroughs on Dead Rising and Portal, some of the puzzles simply baffled me. I have cheated in GTA SA to beat the storyline however I stopped doing so with GTA4. I also cheated on Football Manager, if a shitty team like Aston Villa kept beating me every single time then I would manage their side and fuck up their formations.

Change team condition arrows when your mate is away getting a piss or a drink, tell him you'll set the match up.

If he checks the arrows before each game it's kinda pointless but luckily our kid didn't.
