Are Liverpool & Manchester Utd The Licensed Teams On Pes09??

BELIEVE
Apparently The Carlsberg Logo wont be on the kit, if thats true i find that a waste of a licence.

Konami have never included alcohol brands on kits, examples of this are Celtic and Rangers. Either way, Liverpool are a waste of anything, especially a license. ;)

Seriously though, it's only a Carlsberg sponsor, that away kit would have been a bitch to make.

I highly doubt we'll be able to edit licensed kits, as this has always been the case. We've only ever been able to edit unlicensed kits, which makes sense in a way. Konami have gone through all the trouble of securing these kit licenses etc, and people could simply mess them up in edit mode.

Why is it that T Mobile was never on Bayerns Jersey?

That is one that has always baffled me. We know the German league/national team are very fussy about their licenses. I think FIFA has had some difficulty with German teams too haven't they ? Anywho, my only guess is that Konami had to acquire T-Mobile seperately, and simply weren't willing to do that.

i cnt believe that if that is true im a liverpool fan & i actually agree if theres no Carlsberg its a waste of time the kits will look so plain & boring.

Plain and boring 'cos it doesn't have carlsberg on it? I'd rather see a kit without a sponsor anyday. I agree it should look like the real kit but come on, who gives a shit about sponsors on shirts?

I think what people are saying is that if we're only getting 2 licensed PL teams, they'd like the kits to look great for boths teams. Utd's will, but Liverpool's will almost seem unlicensed (to a degree) because you won't be able to see the sponser.

And if this 80 kit template thing is true, I'm sure people will post pics of the Liverpool kit with the Carlsberg logo (if you're able to edit the kit of the licensed teams at all) which would in effect make Liverpool "a wasted license".

That's where I think they got that from anyway.

I've never liked the fact that licensed teams can't be edited, at least in the ML. It just starts getting boring and unrealistic playing with the exact same uniform in 2008 all the way throu 2020. After the first season, we should be able to change sponsors or at least colors like most teams do in real life.

I hope the carlsberg logo is there because it will be a waste of kit. Liverpool and carlsberg are like one to me.

They should just get every fecking licence and logo, so PES2009 can be gotten over with, Konami are stressing their game too much by not putting one thing then putting another

Considering they can't afford it, plus would never be allowed all licenses as FIFA have exclusive rights to most, it would actually be totally impossible. However, it seems that all this focus on licenses from Konami could detract time from gameplay development. Possibly why PES used to be so good, because they never really focused on acquiring as many licenses as possible.

Then they should as least have the best gameplay ever, if they have less licenses and dont concentrate on it
