Turn of The Tide???

hey guys

just have a qucik question for you. 2 out of the 3 reviews i have read about PES2009 (the links to which i got from this site) so far have said that Fifa is now a truer representaion of real football than PES is and PES is just now the more "fun" version. My question now is, based on these reviews, and their claims that the roles of each game have switched in a sense, how can we say that PES is still the better game, when we all liked the previous versions, barring 2008, because they were always truer representaion of the beautiful game. If I find these reviews to be correct after playing both games myself, i don't think i will want to be buying PES2009.

Well first off all the reviewers are wrong when they said the the roles between the games have switched. If thats the case then FIFA 09 would be more fun then PES.

I thought the reason PES was so awesome was because it was a realistic football sim and FUN at the same time. According to the reviews yes FIFA 09 is more realistic....but from playing the demo ( on hard difficulty ) i lost 3-2 and won 3-2......how is that realistic for a 2 minute a half game? dont know....

PES 2009 will be much mroe fun and it will last longer b/c all sorts of things tend to happen in PES where as in FIFA it seems too scripted....the goals are not even that rewarding.

What the reviewer shoulda said is...."FIFA 09 is now starting to feel like a real football simulation, much like PES, although not quite as fun. If you want licenses and authenticity go with FIFA 09 if you want the best playing football game go with PES 2009."

OPM said that Become a Legend was inspired by Be a pro....If they gonna wright stuff like that then all others things are bullshit as well.

Most magazines get payed to say positive stuff.

Meh, i guess i can only wait until i have played both games to finally find out, but I can't help but feel worried for PES from those reviews, especially in the OPM review where they highlight that the CB's in the game still move out of position:crymore:

Absolutly agree there. Over the years i have played the fifa games along with the pes games. I myself prefer the pes games as they are more realistic. When i play with a friend on a 1v1 at pro , how many times have we let out little screams as the ball hits the post or the keeper makes a magnificent save. It's these moments you remember in pro evo, you just don't get that with the fifa games.
