Just discovered the "select player" bit of the controller settings allows you to just control certain players on the pitch. Works pretty well.

yeah u can u just connect ur phone to laptop/pc and then an ethernet crossover cable from the laptop/pc to the ps3 and u can connect!


btw someone said the left analogue is for skills ... does that mean i cant use the left stick to control players? that would suck i cant play with the dpad by thumb is broken :|

Why there isn't a poll with a hit or miss in the demo? So far I read much more positive reviews. I'm frustrated that I can't even download the game.

Played it on 360 and PS3 just now, never thought Id be buying a FIFA game two years in a row, 5 years ago. Same old robotic 8 direction movements, I was hoping that would be sorted out, with it being my main gripe over the years with the series.

i agree not enough improvements. its to rigged or something. i think im done with Pro Evo now, specially after playing fifa 09 this morning. wasnt to impressed with fifa 09 demo but the final version is lots better. hope Pro Evo is the same and the final version is better:(

What I meant was, when you have a throw in, does it allow your receiver to be close to the touchline?

Owkay, I've played three games so far. Real - Barca, Man U - Liverpool and Italy France.

In the first game I hardly got to any chances, they played too well. I lost the game 1 to nil, Messi hit my defender (with the ball, it's no World Cup on NES:), deflected and ended up at Eto'o, he scored. Seemed pretty difficult, I liked it a lot.

Second match I won 2-1, nice goal by Scholes but the second was a disaster. I had a long-range try with Tevez, it was a magnificent shot, good safe by Reina but then the ball rolled away, Carragher came in running to clear it but ran it in. WHY Oh WHY can't they just have defenders kick it really far, in ANY direction but the goal.

Third match was excellent. Buffon really saved my ass in a couple of occasions, I think I've read it somewhere before in this thread but the ball hit the post, Buffon was down but IMMEDIATELY got up to pick it up, it was great! I had a good freekick with Del Piero, but the France goalie tapped it onto the post and it went for a corner. Ow and I scored a WONDERFUL header with Toni, he really positioned himself perfectly after I took-over control halfway their area, I passed it long with Di Natale and he made an excellent goal:)

I really really really like it. I haven't seen any crappy decision by the ref, good tackling IS possible in my opinion, I've gotten two yellow cards but I deserved them... I really can't think of any thing I don't really like I must say....

The speed is great, the graphics a bit better and the AI seems great (except for the defender running the ball into his own goal, but hey, I've seen it's possible in FIFA to intercept the ball from the goalie when he will try to kick it into the field, that's even worse).

Back to the game!

how can u judge a game from 1 days play! pro is a game that grows on you and it takes abit to really feel the pro evo vibes! so to say u don't like it already is shit mate!!

Just played a full game as Ronaldo. Double tap R2 to request a pass and for some reason in this mode it's easier to go on mazy runs....perhaps it's just the camera angle, I dunno. Good fun though.

i just had a nice 3 - 3 with barca there. i was Man Utd

I was 1 nil up, then 3 - 1 down. Don't ask how i conceded 3 goals in the first half. Second half i decided enough is enough, i change the setting so its me that controls everyone, and before i knew it, it was 3 - 2 .... then i got a throw in, i change it to brown, throw it in, Rooney gets head to it, flicks it onto Tevez, 3 - 3 :) ... i had quite a few chances to win it but scuffed em :(

The Excitment and the drama was there whilst playing it, this Pro has what it takes tobecome an instant Hit...cant wait till the 17th !!

I have a patch, i was playing a 15 minute game incase people were wondering how i got a 3 - 3
