the kicking of the ball sound seems to be different, doesn't sound like they are kicking a flat football anymore. or is that just me?

Gameplay looks the exact same although the people playing that game are not doing a very good job of showing off what PES can do.

From my experience of past ProEv's, gameplay of the demo will be identical to gameplay of full release. So, expect to play online and find that 90% of the goals u concede to be keeper fumbles (from tame shots) and/or those magic penalty box dancing cut-backs/lay-offs.

The scope for creative play in this years release is immense but yet again all konami's work in expanding the game will be undone by the persitent same old gaping flaws in the defensive AI.

the pace seems faster to me actually, too fast in my opinion...it looked a lot like pes08 tbh. Just my opinion though, the gameplay still seems too fast :fplm:

Looks absolutely shite.

Players fly a mile from the ball if they get nudged, game speed looks too fast. Players run like robots.

I am not impressed at all.

I tend to agree, this video sort of made less excited about the game

What's so wrong with it? Looks like the contrast is a bit low and it's youtube quality, doesn't look very different to the demo? :/

It is the final game footage from this video.

Also fellas PESfan have the game early and here is some stuff from the final game they have reported:

Update

- Squads are the same as the review versions, so Berbatov at Tottenham, Culler at Rangers etc Basically the sqauds are out of date
- Maximum of 4 players online, 2vs2 is included, no groups
- Full edit mode available, 360 edit mode doesn't allow you option of importing image off the hard drive
- 200 spaces for all images
- 'thudding' noise reduced when kicking the ball
- All Champions League matches take place at night
- 8 camera angles to choose from

Gameplay is mostly about how the game feels rather than how it looks and (to me, personally), it actually looks pretty good anyway. Luckily I also seemtohave escaped the FIFA vs PES debate this year, since I am reliably informed by nearly all fans of either series that EA never do a good job of the PC game, which is my best way of knowing since i haven't played it since FIFA 05.

Maybe it's the videos framerate that makes it appear faster. Trust me, the pace is just right.
