If there is some contract thing with ea that prevents konami from updating transfers , then why cant they call them by similar names like berbatoss (berbatov), Nobinho (robinho), ect. im sure thats what they used to do anyway.

They'll say hey this stadium looks just like ours, it even has the same seating capacity and built in the same year only thing missing is the name so for a small fee we'll let you keep it. It makes it even more tough when you have a player like EA in the field, able to easily outbid you at every opportunity.

I'm really just talkin out of my ass but don't be surpised if something like this were true. If you do anything that turns a profit with someone's intellectual property, they'll want a piece.

for example in pes 2008, if you wanted to put berbatov on united you would have to put a united player on spurs, you couldn't just put a player in a squad
