The Referring is so stupid in the game! Fifa has flat out better referees and much more realistic gameplay. But Pes is the better game in my opinion (NO FAN BOY).

I don't see the bad things. They're not as bad as 2008. Every pes will have something bad in it. But the good things are awesome.

Watch MOTD once in a while, you will see all that in real life football so it doesn't bother me too much!

as for scoring from the half way line, WTF you shooting from there for anyway if you don't expect to get a goal from it, if you knew about the apparent ease already even worst.

the pirlo free kick is a perfect example of why i love pes....its so unpredicable...awesome goal. the ronaldo one was weird it didnt cross the line....buffon i guess that was bad but it can happen

Exactly. That sort of shit is realistic. It isn't a bug or bad gameplay, and it might be excruciatingly annoying but it is totally true to life.

Maybe because he's fouled him?

Take this scenario. Player on the attack gets challenged by the defender, who knocks the ball into his leg (the ball travels towards another attacking player in an offside position). Is he offside? Of course he is. This is what's happened here, the ball has ricocheted off the players leg, gone forward, he has continued his run and been taken down.

my " bad " stuff was a piss take really. I love that Pirlo freekick, its jammy as fuck but does happen. The Rio OG was hmm but also funny

its mainly the " what the fuck " stuff i wanted to point out in this post tbh.

End of the day, the good stuff is too good. I still can't wait to get my teeth into a nice Master League. For the record tho, no way in hell was that a Pen imo, that is defo an error and hopefully will be sorted for final release... but i aint holding my breath

No, just no.

It's not a foul. Never in a million years should that be a penalty. The ball was won by the defender, then played back off the attacker for what should've been a goal kick.

I see where you're coming from and looking at it, it's easy to see why the game mis-read it as a foul, due to the attacker getting another touch, the defender didn't, then went down. But he never continued a run. The key word is ricocheted.

Take this scenario :p. A player is one-on-one with the keeper and tries to round him. The keeper gets a clean hand to the ball and it bounces back off the attacker's foot just as he goes flying over the keeper's body. Is that a penalty? Of course not. The ball was played cleanly by the defending player.

And I can't believe I'm having a debate over a PES penalty incident. ¬_¬

Technically it is, as the "second phase" comes into play. Whilst I'll admit in proper football it's never a penalty, by the letter of the law it actually is.

It's all relative to whether the striker will regain control of the ball, if he looks set to, then yes that is a penalty. As long as there is contact on the keepers body of course, I'm not one for the Gerrard style of winning a spot kick/free kick.

Once again I'd like to reiterate I am arguing for arguing's sake (such is my mentality)
