Best PES?

i have played both games up till 2006 when i stopped buying fifa and pro evo together and only started buying pro's, fifa is a good game and i was only elaborating on what shaun7 said, yeh fifa 09 is a good game, probably better this year, but i find pes more enjoyable even though konami have changed very little.

Since when and where in any of my posts did I say I like to dribble with over powered players? That's right I never. There's only 2 teams I use on PES and that's Liverpool and England. Breaking teams down is a piece of piss, dealing with players that like to use super players is a piece of piss, and the only person who cry's about this is you!

For your information I have tried both FIFA08 and 09, and they are not for me, as I've stated before... As for bad things about FIFA, what is good? Apart from maybe the graphics and sounds, it has no gameplay.

so you can honestly say you've never screamed at the screen when someones runnin at you with ronaldo for the 100th time in the same match or as in pes 08 or 07 adriano would unleash his rockets?

it obvs does cos it plays like pes 5 in more ways than 1 and i'm sure you bigged that game up

Yea Overall i would say this years PES hasnt made great leaps despite its few improvements.
This is because it doesnt really give me this same great "feeling" when trying to play it for the first time like Pes 3 and Pes 6 did for that matter.

Yes the AI is improved especially attacking wise as so far the AI has scored some great goals past me one being a lofted through ball over the top for the striker to finnish and then a back heel to put the player though 1 on 1 with the keeper to score.

Well I am using the default master league players so since scoring goals is harder well i hardly ever score with this team.

I played Fifa and i was kinda impressed with the shooting but i was consistently hitting shots in the top corner with Drogba which yea gave me this good feeling and looked great on the replays, but i usualy just expected to score these.

Imo Fifa has made great strides like a football team always progressing and getting promoted up from the lower leagues, while PES has always been in the "top 4" if you like so expectations are always gonna be high.

This current version of PES gives me the feeling like my team has missed out on the champions league yet there is still things to play for, while fifa 09 gives me the feeling off a promoted club like hull city a suprise package if you like.

But overall I am a loyal fan to the PES series and my football club so ill stick to PES and hope for improvements next installment.

This is football-Passing and scoring not running with 1 player and scoring...

PES 5-6 were the best games...PES2008 and 2009 are not Next-Generation games...The graphs are a bit better than Playstation 2 version.But playstation 2 gameplay is much better!Im a serious gamer.I had all kind of consoles.I played all pes we iss series...I'm very dissampointed with pes2009...That is why I'm saying all those bad things about pes2009!Because we diserve better from KONAMI!

i dont want to say either game over the other

they both play well in ther own way
and also shit in ther own way

but if i did have to say i would go with fifa for the effort and vast improvent its made and what gameplay modes offline and online it gives you

If your a 16yr old playing in a Sunday match against a load of big fat pub players, are you going to dive in and risk him throwing your half way across the pitch? Or, are you going to wait for the perfect moment to rob the ball off them?

I know their was players that cheat, but you get that in every game... I don't really understand what satisfaction they get out of cheating in a football game but hey, whatever tickles their fancy.
