No atmosphere when goal scored!!

Does anyone else notice this.

In the old versions of PES when you scored a goal you could here the net ripple and you had real excitment that you had scored.

In this version when you score, basically nothing happens. You dont hear the ball hit the net, the commentators barely react and the crowd hardly change either.

When I score I want to hear the crowd go crazy straight away and the commentators to get a little more excited.

I like to listen to the game, its just annoying because its such a basic feature which for me makes a big difference.

I feel the same way, a bit disappointed so far.

At the moment im not the most amazing player at the game. I struggle with beating the defenders at the moment as they seem to be glued to me. I'm now playing the slow passing game and waiting for space to develope (which is still difficult because the opposition always seem to have 7 people in the box when I Attack). So when i do score...its only me that excited, lol....very strange.

You mean... football..?

If that's the case, then surely the game has acheived it's purpose. To reflect real football...

im not moaning about that.....thats awesome.

its the lack of atmosphere after all that effort.

I've kinda noticed it - definately there's a second of silence before the crowd makes any noise. Most of the commentator remarks are against the goalkeeper.

Then again, PES will be played by me on mute for the rest of the week, now I have Off With Their Heads to listen to.

there might have been a lack of atmosphere when my legend finally scored his first goal for Sunderland after 15 games but, unfortunately, i cant confirm this for definite as at that exact moment i was jumping out of my seat and shouting "get the fuck in" very loudly :blush:

15 games :shocking: My future leg-end has scored 7 in 5 training games yet still warms the bench at Hull.

yep, 15 games, gutted! It is very hard on top player mode but, since i have had every pro since ISS on the SNES i am not going to suffer the indignity of playing on anything but the top level. I can already beat the computer easily enough when controlling the whole team but it is taking me a while to get used to the Become a Legend mode, which is quality- it will really extend the shelf life of this edition. My player can now roughly shoot on target every so often so i expect more goals to come!
