I can't believe it's worse than 2008.
Defending is next to impossible, they're so slow to react, and if a player loses the ball or is tackled they stand there unmoving for a second or two, or will sometimes move away from the ball or any direction apart from the direction you're pressing.
I've never had another game lag before only pes (ps3).
I never play against the computer in pes as I prefer real opponents, either playing against friends or playing online, which I think is more fun.

Offline against friends is a totally different game and I enjoy it but online is an important part for me.

Is everyone else experiencing this?

(as i said above I have a great connection speed and don't experience lag in any other game)

I hope it gets fixed soon then if alot of people are having problems with the online mode, I'm seriously thinking about getting a refund and buying fifa

i still win somehow but the games end up like 7-4 and shit like that lol

Yes online is an absolute joke on Xbox and PS3. When they're testing, how do they ever give it the go-ahead in this condition? Amazes me year after year.

fuck knows what up with it, either a major bug or summet but every one online in the lobbies says the same thing too, really does need sorting

mine are lag free all the time but the defending is a nightmare! and that stupid R2 90 degree turn people do in mid sprint so unrealistic

tackle rooney.....defender stands........nope he doesnt want that free ball........rooneys back up.......shoots.....kepper dives and saves it with his face.......tevez tap in

and thats the beautiful game is it

yet the games a joy to play offline? what the hells going on lol

Online has been truly fucked tonight, so frustrating. I could play 8 lag filled minutes (game minutes that is, not real time) then I would get "The transmission has worsened - the match must be cancelled" coming up.

Must be something to do with them increasning the amount of people that could get on each server. What a stupid decison that was, the servers were having a hard enough time as it was.

So is going on servers with fewer people gonna help.

I just had 2 legends online matches cancelled within the first 5 minutes (game minutes that is, not real time) in a row due to "transmission worsening".

i think they've cocked up big style increasing the servers, yes ther was the defending issue, but my games wer lag free and only once did the game get terminated, now.........fuckin hell its like i'm playin 2008 again! not the lag, but my constant screaming at the screen lmao

I was on a server earlier with 51 people out of a possible 1000 and it was just as bad

It's like a different game online, and the lagging is different from last years,
I haven't experienced any of the 'ghosting' this time with my player running up the pitch with the ball then the camera zooms back to show the ball somehow in the back of my net.
It's almost like they've figured out how to conceal this by making the controls unresponsive at times and have your players moving slowly instead, or from what I usually experience, players moving away from the ball to allow the opposition a clear chance on goal.

People think just because it isnt visibly 'jerking' or players arnt teleporting that its not lagging. The reason for the poor defending is because of lag, its just that it cant easily been seen this time.

This year, the lag has a even bigger affect on the online games. This better be sorted out or my game will be going straight on ebay and FIFA will be bought.

It shouldnt even need updating. WHY ARE THEY RELEASING THIS SHIT?? PATHETIC
