PES on PS3 & PC

Hello.

How can it be, that the game flow / game speed is much better on PS3 than PC?

I played both things, the game with my buddies on PS3 - and the PC version on my own computer.

There is a huge differences between the PS3 and the PC?

When i am playing the game on PS3 the flow is much better, the speed is higher... And when i come home to my PC and play, the game is soooo sloooow.... :S

And i guess its not course my computer arent good enough, my specs are:

ASUS P5N-32
Kingston HyperX 2 x 1 GB *PC6400
2*8800GTS 512
Quadcore.

Am i the only one, with that problem..?

And what do, to make the game run more faster / better flow in game? :S

The actual experience may vary according to things like resolution... camera view..

The first time I played in 1024x768 I thought the game was in supersonic mode... because I normally play in 1440x900, wich gives me a much wider view of the pitch and as such, the players appear to be slower (when they're not)...

Your computer suck. But looking at your Specs, its not.
I played it inside my other laptop its slow.
I played it in my current laptop, its normal.

Try to only open PES and close other application or just restart your computer before starting PES.

On the PS3 we always play in "wide" camera view. On the PC i play in 1280*720 - also tried 1024*768. (Also wide view)

Maybe it's just my computer, but the players movements also seems very bad against PS3.

But to defense my new computer, my old computer - with specs AMD 3800+ and 7900 GT - also had the problem with movement speed / flair in the game in PES2008. =/

How can you tell my computer suck? In all other games the games run like a dream, crysys on high in everything, farcry2 high in everything - runs like a dream... But in PES its just seems to go slower / missing flow in the game against PS3.

But maybe i should try the rebooting before gaming, but i doubt it will help - dont take this as i dont appreciate your help, but it really cant see how it should help.


One thing i know, its really annoying course i really love this game, like it should be - but when i play on my PC ... After 1 match its not fun, course its not like PES2009 really should be.

PES08 was like that for me, but the other way around... Although I think it was just the game itself. PES09 on PC runs very smooth for me. Do you have everything on the highest settings? Do you have Vsync enabled?

Yup, before the patch, I was also playing at 1024x768, after the patch I switched it too 1680x1050, made allot of difference for me.

It shouldn't be the case of closing other applications down... sacron said he has quadcore, which is designed to have multiple applications open at the same time. sacron has also said he has 2gb which would also be enough to have a few applications open... PES doesn't hog your resources like other applications/games so it would be this.

If sacron was getting slow down because other applications, you can tell the difference.

@sacron... The best thing you can do, is hope someone else on these forums has PES09 for both PS3 and PC to see what they say. I know why guy said he did, but he's PC wasn't up to scratch.

By changing the resolution do you mean in the PES settings or the settings for your computer in general (done by right clicking on the desktop)? My computer's specs are good but the demo runs like crap and I don't know why. The graphics are on low and the videos of the players during the game take forever to load and are very 'laggy.'
