No Cause GH4 drums have 6 pads including the bass pedal and activsion are stuck up about people using there instruments for other games.

From what ive been reading... Rock Band 2 is set to be a fail against Guitar Hero World Tour... and god I've read a lot lol

the debates between fanboys about these two games are endless man

I prefered the layout of Guitar Hero 3 (menus etc) but the GUI whilst playing was much better on Rock Band.

I am really interested in Rock Band 2, but I'm not sure whether to get GH: World Tour (with drums) or get RB2 (with drums). Which one looks best: GH:WT or RB2? I would get this game to enjoy myself and have a good time playing some songs occasionally, and drums is my favourite musical instrument so.

But I am concerned that there is only one Red Hot Chili Peppers song on the disc Only one song would be a fail because a lot of drumming is involved in their songs and they sound great.

Will there be anymore RHCP songs??

And, do you have to pay for DLC? I would prefer to not pay for extra songs, as I probably won't be able to. I don't have a credit card yet :blush:

You never know with the amount of DLC rock band bring out, theyve got hundreds more songs to download than guitar hero...there may well be a RHCP track pack, or ablum track, i dno....

and the majority of DLC yeah you do have to pay for, but you sometimes get the odd track thats free....albeit a crap track lol but its still another song to play enit...

Im leanin towards guitar hero atm...as they have hendrix, van halen, and black sabbath as exclusives....
But the music studio that theyve been hyping up as their best feature, absolutely failed BIG time....so i dont know...

Plus guitar hero has Activision..who are shaping up to be THE worst developer of 2008, in terms of pissing off their fans.... With activision at the helm, rock band just keeps looking better and better as time goes on

I think I saw the drummer of Red Hot Chilli Peppers in some video for the new GH:WT drum kit so I presume RHCP may have some affiliation with GH. I may be totally wrong.

Yeah you definately did see Chad from RHCP. He was testing out the drum kit...I dont think there are any RHCP tracks in world tour though...

Good idea man, this game "rocks" LOL, bought it last week and cant stop playing it, add me, gamertag is: F4FWildcat

Also, UK peeps, feel free to ask me anything about this game! and, a word of advice: GHWT instruments are faulty, many peeps in many forums are moaning about this.
And, GHWT is a copy of Rock Band anyway......RB2 is much improved and the instruments are waaaaay better than those of RB1.

There are about 20 or so RHCP songs,Dani California,the whole Blood Sugar Sex Magik album (exluding Give It Away which is on the RB2 disc) and Snow ((hey oh)) and Tell Me baby.

You have to pay for these extra RHCP songs? I hope they will be free DLC for Rock Band 2..?

You have to pay for all DLC bar like 1 or 2 free songs.

That's a shame. Once I get RB2, I will have to somehow try and bribe my parents to letting me use their credit card and get all of the RHCP DLC when it comes out.

Anyone know when Rock Band 2's coming out in the UK for PS3?
