yes...on the pc we cant manually change our stats, we have to go thru a scout match and that will affect (among other things) out initial agility, mentality and aggression. (at least thats what ive noticed).

On the ps2 i believe you are given 20 or so points to distribute where ever you please...thats one difference.

EDIT: Another difference is i believe you guys cant adjust strength points.

Yes, we cannot adjust our strength points (there is no such option). It means that once you create your legend, you cannot improve specific abilities (this sucks). Other difference is that we do not receive any new positions and we do not receive any new special abilities during the course of the game.

Apart from those differences, I thought the rest would be the same. I guess not...

How much in average do you improve? In PS2 it is basically 2 points/year in each stat.

I'm sick of this shit. Fuck the ps2 discrepancy (i get it, it's to make people buy the game on the ps2). Just make one game that's the same throughout all consoles.

Hey guys,

Playing BAL for the third season now as AM .. progressed nicely in the first two seasons, stats wise (about 5 points each year). Started at Athletic Club, then got an offer from Valencia the second season, now having a good time playing with Villa. :D
But currently I hardly ever get any match experience points.. which surprises me.. whats the point in having match experience points if they're hardly ever handed out? I basically get the same experience points as when I would skip the matches.
Just playing them is fun of course, but its weird. :) The only time I got some match experience points is a cup game where I scored two goals, with a 7.0 rating.
Usually get a 6.0 or 6.5 rating and very few goals.. :) Average is 6.3 overall

One difference with the previous seasons is that there's fewer matches, no european football this season for Valencia .. I got lucky that when I joined Athletic Club they played Champions League, and Valencia did in the previous season too.
Didnt hold square(2) when the team is not in posession untill yesterday, so Valencia didnt perform all that great last season, since they needed me to hold square.. :p

The expected stats increase also is less then the previous seasons, that probably has to do with it too.

Any ideas? :)

i dont believe for a second that you played that first season on Top Player ... im sure we all know that during the end of season break you can change your difficulty

Also i have played a few games at AMF and its so god damn easy to get decent ratings aslong as you hit a few shots on target! Much harder with CMF

Hello All,

Im new to the forum. Im also playing the "Become a Legend mode" on PES 2009 for the xbox 360. Im playing on the regular difficulty. Been ages since i play pes games but really enjoying this one. I have just started by 4th season. Im playing for Merseyside blue on a salory of 801 as a AMF/CM player. Last season i made 28 appearences scores just the one goal. Also had spells at man blue and aston villa. But now happy at my current teams as a regualar starter so have no plans as of yet to move on.
