i like everything about the game but the shooting, i think it needs to be fully re-evaluated as it is very unrealistic, i'd love more ways to manipulate the ball eg applying bend, inswinging or outswinging swerve when using the accuracy shot, id like better animations for shooting and more ability to place the ball where you want with a player with the appropriate stats.
think there needs to be more atmosphere for big games, better crowd noise for goals and fifa standard commentary (which is miles better than pes)

other than that its a top game.

A more complete game! I dont want to download updates (I dont have broadband so I cant access any Konami updates), I want a finished product and then just use OFs from then.

Also, regulate the yellow/red cards by refs. Finally, slow down the gameplay just a little bit more so we have more mid field battles and we've got a stellar game.

how about the comentary actually saying a players name! refs needs to be toned down and the need to add more variaty to free kicks.

1. Cheering stance option HOME and/or AWAY (like the previous versions)

2. Random Stadium Option while playing again or with another team (like the previous versions). It's annoying to go out to the main menu to change the stadium each time you want to play a match.

3. Name Commentaries on all players SPECIALLYY for BIG TEAMS! In Barcelona for example, Gudjonson, Dani Alvez, Bojan, Caceres ..etc have no sound commentary where on the previous version PES2008, the sound commentary for Alvez and Gudjonsen was there !!

4. Cheering stance in edit mode should be more than 1 minute.

5. Option of changing Goal Sound since the environment when scoring a goal isn't fascinating.

6. Changing the English Commentator if possible. Although he's not bad. Needs more enthusiasm.

1. Allow player to move in more than 8 directions

2. Integrate Champions League into Master League

3. Same selection of Commentary Languages for N.A. and European versions (I want Italian in N.A. version!)

4. Same release date in N.A. and Europe

Otherwise this game is close to perfect!

Please, get rid of the invisible 5 yard barrier when taking free throws.
In real life football, I can get as close to the player as I want, there
is no barrier. Use the fifa throw in system. Also, the transfers in master
league get wacky sometimes. For instance, when I want to sign a young player, who doesnt play for a club team and never had a national appearance, I want to sign him for my 2nd division team for a lot of money, and he won't do it. What real life player who doesnt play for a club team, would refuse an offer to play for a #1 ranked 2nd division team who will be promoted next season. It doesnt make sense.

On Line League

PES misses just a ON LINE LEAGUE feature. This is how I picture it:

- General settings: 4/8/12/16/20 players, password to get access, home/away games, national or clubs teams
- regular league/ tournament/ playoff
- schedule a game whenever you want based on the league weekly schedule (games for the week need to be completed within that calendar week, otherwise automatic 0-0)
- on line stats, share saved goals/ highlights clips, forum section
- tracking of yellow cards, red cards, injuries

Additional awesome features:
- trades within teams
- additional years (ie league Year 1, then Y2,..) with off season trades, free agents and/or draft
- have a on line portal that post results, stats, standings on internet. So you don't need to use your PS3/xbox, to take a look at schedule, stats, standings
- same on line portal (youtube type) where you can also see highlights of all other games

this would be my dream...to have a on line league with 8 friends...we are doing it now but we need to track everything off line...this a lot of work!!and it gets annoying....I would prefer to just check weekly calendar, call my friend, schedule the game for the week, play it and that's it...than go to the portal, check what is going on, and post some trash talking!!

what do you think???

not that theres anything wrong with 2009 but here are a few cosmetic changes i would be interested to see in the 2010 game

more weather types. like in ML maybe having 1 in a 100 or so games with rain or snow so bad that the fixture ends up being called off. might be a bit far fetched but i bet you'd be shocked if it happened.

make the ML more official, give the teams prem style sleeve badges for ML div 1 and 2.

the edit mode is really good this time out i think, can it get more in-depth next time?

2 player leagues and cups i.e. me controlling my mates opponents and vice versa. apart from that the game is top class, Although since this is a suggestion thread what about bringing back snow or adding extremely waterlogged pitches to the extent that some games get postponed half way through, the option to throw an elbow around once in a while for a straight red card, or further options in ML mode which can see you move club, or get sacked, and finally what about the option of editing the referee, stats and all.

I think it needs alot of cosmetic update in general

- The screen in matches.. The scoreboard is fine with the two club emblems, and scores in the right corner. But the time in the left corner, i mean, its just numbers. They need to put it in a box with somekind of logo. Even a fictional PES logo will do

- They need to put faces on players in ML. So you can see what they look like when you search. (Think it was there for PES08 - PS2, cant quite remember)

- Maybe build the players names up so you have 3 columns. 1 First name - 2 Last Name - 3 Calling Name (Like in FM)

- Add more space for player names in general
- Add more uniform designs in Edit Mode + the option to add emblems to socks
- Maybe more kit options for teams. Like Man U playin in black shorts if the other team weares white. And maybe third kits for all teams who have it

- Add curley hair (wavy doesnt do it for all) and more hair in general
- Add more boots (at least the ol fashioned Predator wich alot of players still use)
- Add more accessories like untucked shirts, tape all the way down, pulled up-long sleeves and maybe masks & glasses. (for Edgar Davids, and the mas Puyol had back in the day)

- Adding the Bundesliga to the game
- The option of all leagues playin at the same time in ML, not just 4.
- Adding League B teams to ML
- The option to sort "active" and "inactive" Classics in ML
- Integrating Champions League into ML

About licens.
I actually dont care if the teams are licensed anymore. Meaning only team names and uniforms cuz we have some people who has outmastered this part of the game and theres some really awesome OF's out there. Plus it gives us the chance to edit the teams uniforms when they change in real life.. cant do that with the licensed teams

In my opinion i think PES is so very close to been the game we all want it to be.
I for one are not worried in the slightest about fully licenced teams as long as 2010 gives us an even more in depth edit mode (which i think adds fun by editing your own stuff).
New things for 2010:
* Stadium editor
* referee choice
* full game chant importing
* Goal net editor or choice
* zoom in/out vertical/side camera to replace others that most of noone uses (a must)
* option to use created teams in master league
* extra divisions in master league
* more in depth stats to rival Fifa (a must)
* game speed adjustment for all tastes
* few gameplay tweeks as im sure you all have your views

Not much to ask for really if Konami decide to put a little more effort in.

how about untucked shirts, low socks, editable boots balls stadiums pitch styles net styles, the white things that ronaldo etc wear on their ankles instead of tape, players actulally being stretchered off, handballs not in the game, why? Konami know theres a pile of shit they could put into the games, and basic shit at that that would make a big difference! :w00twell for me anyway

I hate when they add new features but remove old ones.
They should add new things to the existing product only, not replace them.
I used to love being able to pick your shirt + shorts + socks colors before a match in the old PES.

oh yes, i forgot that one Vid. the stadium editor, would make the ML better if your stadium was original or even a copy of the real stadiums that arent in the game. WHL would be easily made.

also, if you could maybe change stadium to your new design so far through the ML you could keep track of your record like arsenals not being beaten at the emirates for so long
