Editing D2 Questions

Hey I have some questions about PES2009 on the PS3. I recall that on Master League, after you aced the divisions.. you won the option to start a new ML but essentially switch the teams in the divisions.. does anyone else remember this from the old PES games?

Also.. I noticed the new PES has 20 teams .. a full premiership lineup in D1 and 12 teams in D2.
Now that we have those Other teams in Other Leagues B.. can we essentially add those teams from Other Leagues B afterwards.. ?

Creating a D2 which would be an all english championship.. and having an all english D1 league without rangers and celtic (no offence). :lol:

Am I just twittering or does anyone understand what format I mean?

I understand you fully but we all have the same problem in here
You cant add the League B teams to ML.
They took that one part out, that actually made a big bonus in ML, so you could play it full English or whatever teams you had created there.
Now theres only PES & WE United left.. too bad

Editing League B

So are Konami going to release a patch to fix it.. what was the point in giving us those slots if we can't use them in competitions? :crymore:
I mean.. think about it.. that means we'll have to have foreign teams in the ML for the english part of the league..
furthermore.. if thats the case theres no difference to playing in europe as to playing in your normal league.. as you'll be playing foreign teams league A and foreign teams in the champions league.. :realmad:

That's a poor showing on Konami's side.. had they given us this option.. we'd of been able to have a smaller championship side to fight out of.. then go into the England League.. before taking on the cream of europe in the champions league..


The game itself is great, and i enjoy playing it.. but i think Konami needs to work out some of its priorities and reasons for putting in the things it does do on the game.

I've been through the many teams in the championship.. I added 12 teams to the other B teams sections. Wolves, Birmingham, Charlton Athletic, Reading, Crystal Palace, Nottingham Forest, Wolves, Sheffield United, Southampton, Coventry, Watford, Norwich & Derby County..
some of these have appeared in the Premiership in the last few seasons.. and I went round changing Player A24 to players that werent on the game..
Seeing as though the choice of putting them into the ML at the end of it doesnt exist.. I dont think I'll bother..

Editing Championship teams in ML

Ok so I done it, I switched out 9 of the Spanish Teams and exchanged the name. emblem and players to teams from the Championship.

I now have the Premiership in League A division 1 and the Championship of sorts in division 2.

I moved the players, and teams from the removed spanish teams over to other leagues B. this way I still have them available to me in exhibition matches, should i feel the need to play against Recreativo :blush:

Makes me wonder though, Konami let you edit ML structure.. and dont let you use the available slots for custom teams.. why even do that?

i remember i found the best OF ever! where the League B where full of Championship teams and some german teams.. it allowed me to play a full english ML.. cant figure out why to take that from us?!

I actually thought about it, but i also want the other leagues to be intact when i play my ML so ive just moved Bayern Munchen & Werder Bremem to League B - Team A&B and created Birmingham & Reading over PES & WE United

You make it sound so easy to change teams and create teams like that. It takes me 15 minutes to make a new player. I want to make Levante U.D.but i doubt Ican make it happend. It would take me a week! Whats your secret?

Creating Players takes me quite a while, I think it all depends on the amount of effort you want to put in, with this new capture image thing and being able to put players into the game yourself, it makes editing alot easier.
Levante would be quite an easy team to do really, you could get the team roster from wikipedia and then do image searches from their website surely? :w00t

Yes, but i have the ps2 version, so i cant make any image capturing(?). I know mostly of the players, the only thing its such work... Well, i should be happy i have the option anyway.

i just leave the faces as the generic ones with the correct skin colour but do the hairstyle, height weight and foot preference. 8 ball has a link to a site with stats for almost any player you need. as for kits, they are easy enough. i wont change any badges till last thing. then i will do them 1 by 1 using mark 1's post. doing a player doesn't take too long if you get into a rythm of going from stat to stat. get them all done before going into the face edit, theres no harm in them having generic faces if they are only in your D2
