I went on the game last night for a bit and I had to install a new update, called 1.0.1 or something like that. And I had a play and the game felt better. More smooth and slick.

Or it may just be that I hadn't been on it for a week before and I felt the game was better because I was missing it :lol:

Others have said it feels smoother. I don't know about that, but I'm glad the crabwalking has gone. Advantage rule still needs sorting though.

And on the Man Utd subject, I'm annoyed by people who go them too. I leave the game before it even starts, once they hit ready, if they go United. It's not that I don't feel like I can beat them, it's just I'm proving a point to all the wankers who insist on playing as them every single time.

I also do the same thing, but sometimes I just pick another 5 star team and run the ball with the star player to annoy them.

Does anyone play Manager Mode? The league table on mine is so unrealistic. Arsenal are on 16 points after 20 games and they are fighting relegation.

Yea i'm doing manager mode as Man U and the table is abit unrealistic..Liverpool are no where near the top 4...maybe thats a good thing though!

Sometimes online when someone goes to Man Utd and insists on going them, normally I'd leave, but yea sometimes I'll go to a 4 star team like Atl. Madrid and they think it'll be a walkover then I just outsmart them with good passing and mark Ronaldo/Rooney out the game and they're clueless!

I had one guy who couldn't handle the fact I beat Man Utd with Werder Bremen and because I beat him 4-0 he quit and then messaged me saying I cheat...

Anyone tried to play a Be a Pro quick match? Every time I try I just keep getting kicked and this has been happening for well over a day and apparently I am not the only one.

Well it says there is no session in progress but I looked on the FIFA 09 forums and it seems that everyone is experiencing but EA hasn't made any kind of announcement on the issue.

I've just completed the first season of Manager Mode. Man, that was disappointing. I won the league and I expected to see a trophy celebration but instead, it ended like any other matches.

I think they need to add abit more depth to the manager mode because it could be really addictive if they did that..

I think it might be a Be a Pro camera view. When you have the ball the camera imediately pans right down and behind you like a third person perspective even if you go back. When I got the ball in online I never stopped to look at the radar because you usually have 1 or 2 players coming towards you.

I recently changed my Be a Pro camera angle to Tele on my BAP season and it is so much better. You can have it so that the camera follows the ball or the player. I prefer it following the ball. I will probably change it for online as well.

Yeah true and they need to make it feel like you've actually achieved something and not just wasted X amount of hours playing game after game.

Just finished my first Be a Pro season scoring a shit load of goals for Rangers and winning the league. Became captain as well of the national team and now I have signed for Valencia and my first game achievements is to get a 10 rating! I only managed a couple playing for Rangers.

Does anyone here use all manual controls? It's incredibly difficult, but once you've gone to manual it is very difficult to go back and you can play such fluid football with manual controls - going back to assisted feels so restrictive. So if anyone's tried it out and given up, I definitely recommend that you stick with it!

i use only manual and the game is beautiful. You are in control of everything and shooting and passing is so rewarding. For me there is only one way to play this game and that is manual.
