I've downloaded roster files from the internet at work but it won't work on my ps3, it just doesn't pick it up at all.

Can you please maybe mail me a roster file you downloaded. Did you import your copy of Madden or bought it in EU/SA?

I bought my Madden from Play-Asia.com and I picked up the PAL (I reckon EU version). All I do is download it from OSports and plug it in my USB. Which one did you download? The custom rosters or the User made ones?

You can try both the custom rosters or the user made ones, but as far as I know the files on OSports.com is all american version save files.

About 2 years ago I loved Madden but since they bought exclusive licensing rights to the NFL the game has gone down hill because it has no competition. It is a lot better than last year's version though so perhaps the game play will improve once they sort out the new generation hardware kinks.

I've been looking for that game but there doesn't seem to be any European release for it. Shame because it looks quite tasty from what i've read.

Right, I plan on buying this game, but I was wondering whether I could get it any cheaper than

£27.48 - and this is buying it from Game....

Can anyone find it cheaper? Or shall I just buy it?

I'm guessing that's for ps3? If so, that price is worth it, especially if you haven't bought many Maddens before.

Have you bought the recent ones though, with the NFL superstar mode? I think the games in the last 2 years specifically have gotten better.

Man, i could not believe it today, I went in a total of 6 different video game shops, and not one of them had this game!! Really annoyed man, guess its an online purchase for me!!

If you enjoyed Madden 08 you will love Madden 09! The improvements in Franchise and Superstar is non-existent, but general gameplay improvements make this game worthwile! And the graphics is unreal! If you enjoyed madden games in the past you must get Madden 09!

Ive been to every game shop in birmingham and solihull, and none of them have it in stock!

And to top it all off, the Game and Gamestation websites are out of stock!!

I dont believe my luck sometimes!

Finally after all this time!

Got it via the Game Pre-owned section....Paid £14 for it, which Is really good, because its basically a perfect copy....even the book and case are in perfect condition...

Superstar mode is fucking awesome man, really great.....First time round I got drafted by the Raiders (as a QB) and found out they have the worst offensive line in history :faceplm: I was getting so frustrated

So I traded to the Texans, who are a lot better!
Man, getting your first touchdown pass feels amazing!!!

I don't like being a QB, find it a bit too easy. I've got 2 going. One for WR where I'm in my 3rd season, led the league in TD's and 2nd in yards last season. The other is for Cornerback, Leading the league in Interceptions, think it's 12 in 13,14 games. I got 4 picks in one game, and that was against Peyton Manning. :huh:

Yeah I've been thinking about starting a cornerback one...

What level are you playing on? because I find being a quarterback really tough man, especially using the 'my difficulty' or whatever it was, because I did really well in that madden test thing, and in real games, the opponent just picks out interceptions all day man....
So I took the difficulty down to somewhere in between Pro and All-pro, and its easier now, and im actually doing quite well

I'm at Kasas City now....Its good working alongside Tony Gonzalez thats for sure!

You say being a quarterback is easy? you should try running back, Easiet position on the field by far :lol:

I play on the ps2 version so it's different from the ps3 version, there's no Madden Test, just a regular IQ test which I don't think does anything.

I'm playing on All-Pro, may go up to All-Madden soon.
