For those who do not have an Xsata or any other of the stuff usually required to put option files in the game... I don't know if you guys are aware that if you have an enclosure for a 3.5 inch drive (like the ones for external laptop hard drives), you can just get the hard drive off its enclosure, put it in the other enclosure and just connect it to your computer via USB.

Yes, you do void the Xbox hard drive warranty by doing this, but it works. I have a couple of external hard drives for my laptop and so did this and saved myself about $40 that way

btw... if my vote counts for anything, please don't replace the dutch league. That way the game is still playable online, Champions League remains complete, and we have more teams to choose from Personally, I'm glad this is going to be an option file... but then, this is just my opinion.

i'm also going to use essens patch which is same as my patch basically with him replacing the bundesliga and adding chants, music and other extra's

so it gives us the option of having bundesliga in master leasgue aswell

for the relinked faces, only faces relinked which were already ingame? or did idsaturn also create faces or import others such as bendtner, vela etc?

Hi all. First message in the forum
I managed this patch to work on the NTSC version.
Replaced cv06, cv02 and cv0a like the tutorial said.
Extracted all files in cv05 and replaced one by one, the ones who i get the message that the file were smaller i didn't import.
Replaced rv0c_e into rv0c_q (portuguese language). I lost the portuguese language, but don't mind for me.

Played about 5 hours without trouble so far. The kits and boots are amazing! Congrats.

Just missing the latest transfer (Robinho in City, Shev in Milan, etc), and the Bundesliga players.

Here's a tutorial on how to get the hard drive in and out of its Xbox360 casing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F6qV3EiuaHI

Then, you have to put the hard drive into a 2.5" enclosure, such as this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817145135

Plug the enclosure (with the hard drive inside) to the computer via USB. Use Xplorer360 (a free download, google it) to get access to the files on the hard drive you've just plugged in. Once you're done installing whatever file you need, take the hard drive outside its casing, put it back in the xbox 360 one, and plug the whole thing back to your Xbox 360.

Voila! Xbox hard drive connectivity without any additional stuff!

already tried it converts the game iso into about 30 parts called .data files

and i dont know how to either join them or edit

Hmm maybe it's possible to copy this files into pc hdd than edit and copy again to xbox hdd:crymore:

NO!! you need flashed x360 guys! ,
u cant install the patch using xplorer 360 or anything to do with your HDD, its on a disc of the game, even if u install the game it cant be done,, it only installs 4.5 gb of the game, xbox games are usually between 5.5-8 gb in size, the rest verifies it, you will need a flashed xbox 360 sorry guys, Trust me

i'm very sad..i'm trying to change the boots of this good patch ,inserting only pngs that don't exceded the reserved space..why..i say why..the game still freezing on the stars of loading screen?is there a special setting of GGS 7.4.0 that i need?anyone can help me please?i want personalized my boots!

I didn't create new faces.
I relinked 95 faces that were in the cv06 but they weren't assigned ( also faces after trainers).

unfortunately the bundesliga is going to have to be on the option file, after inserting it for most of today when i came to insert it into game image it was too big

Maybe it's possible to insert also a bigger file in the image.

Try this way.

Right click on unnamed_3 cv_02 and select modify reserved space



then like in the picture add to this file the space you need, and save the the new cv02 with more space in another folder.
In this new cv02 now you can insert the bigger unnamed_3.



then you need to rebuild a new image.
So extract all files (except the old cv02) from the image and put them in the same folder where you saved the new cv02
Open imgburn and click on create image files from file/folders



then click browse files and choose the pes files extracted in the folder in the same order they are in the original pes2009 image



now build the image.

I never tested all this but it could work.

Quick update guys

ive decided not to edit the bundesliga into league b nor release an option file for it

but what i have done is add 6 bundesliga teams to other leagues teams

firstly schalke, hamburg, dortmund, bayern, stuttgart and werder bremen replace aik, hammerby, dundee utd, cska moscow, helsinki and internacional

all players have been transfered and in games apps created thanks to essens patch

yeah used the chants they work fine, also already made the changes with the german teams and all working with players in and everythin done ie badges kits relinked etc

just trying to sort other players out ie senegal players so they start on disk and no need for option file also updated germany team so all players are in with apps

One thing that would be nice is if someone would take the time to rename all the international squads players. I haven't seen anyone do that yet.

Also real adboards and one of the scoreboards like the Setanta or the Premier League ones would be cool.
