a64 3000+ and 9600pro. am changing to x1950pro this coming weekend and doing a clean reformat. shld solve the problem but the main thing thats bothering me still is the gamespeed.

Problem saving anything in game

i have the a64 3500 wonder if it just a single core processor issue
been meaning to get an x2. x1950pro is what i have are you getting apg or pci express. tried clean formats twice now and nothing.

I think I have found a fix for this, instead of disabling your antivirus, in AVG8, if you double click "resident shield" then at the bottom, click manage exceptions, then add both your pes 2009 directory and your Pes 2009 save directory to the list of exceptions, then it when you play PES2009, it doesnt hang for ages trying to save in full screen.
This solves it for me ,I guess same counts for other antivirus programs.
btw. I have athlon 3000 + ,ati agp 3650 ,1,5 gig ram ,win xp

Thank you very much for this game working perfectly now, just takes 3 seconds to save now. can't believe it was avg causing this what a pile.
Has this trick solved the language save problem as well?
