I decided to carry on with my Wigan season that crashed and well, i got sacked. I'd just beat Fulham 3-2 after being 2-0 down thanks to the summer signing Kevin Doyle. I pressed continue and i'd been sacked. I have now deleted that game as i applied for the Sheffield United post and didn't get it so if i can't get that job then i havn't any luck. Now i'm pondering which club will be next to start a season with. :erm:

Got the game today and the install was remarkably straight-forward via Steam.

Started with Wolves. Decent 6.5 mil kitty. How do you get the extra money for saying you'll finish first or such like?

First game drew 0-0 against Norwich at Molineux. Pretty wad. Next game League Cup against MK Dons. Went 1-0 down. In the 95th minute, Iwelumo equalizes to send the game to extra time. Win on sudden death pens. I forgot what a buzz you can get off this game. Then I beat Barnsley 1-0 at home in the Championship. Charlton away next.

Shipped out Matt Jarvis and bought in that Hungarian cunt who plays for Plymouth (he's called the Magyar Minge-eater round these parts), Delph, and Andrew Surman. And of course, a certain individual by the name of Dean Windass. I needed to restructure my wage bill so I've only got a million left to play with. I need a fairly decent left-back - any suggestions? A utility left-sided player would also be great. Only my current left back is an extremely overweight looking Cameroonian.

this one looks great, i downloaded the iso of the handheld and thats brilliant.

I get the PC version now and again, absoloutly amazing!! love the game. May get this one.

One question: once i download the patch and demo what do i do afterwards? Extract files? and then good to try it out?

No chance at all. Sports Interactive suggest a graphics card with at least 128MB. I believe the Sis 661FX has less than 32MB.

Ok I remember now why I hate this game. Cardiff away. Early goal ruled out for offside. Fair enough. Go 2-1 down. Score in the 88th minute - offside. Score again in the 94th minute - offside.

And it doesn't look like you can complain about match officials anymore?

I really hated last years simply because of all the goals you scored that was ruled out because of offsides.

Got a new season going with Tottenham. Doing awesome bar a embarresing drubbing to Sampdoria 4-0. Sign Jolean Lescott, Lassana Diarra and Guiseppe Rossi. All three of them are quality. Third in the league after 19 games played and in the semi's of the League Cup.

Ok i played the demo and love it!! Cant wait to get it!!

Only problem is it sometimes takes a long time load and process, sometimes even in games.

Is this my PC or is it just the demo (Vanilla, i think thats the smaller file)

I'm trying to get rid of mine too. Tried once agian today and in my first three days of management, under the standard training regime, Dida was out for six months, Ambrosini for two and Cardaccio for three. Too freaky for me considering the injury problems I've had in the other two Milan games I started.

I won't ever purchase a Football Manager game after this. They have utterly ripped me off this year.

That was patched.

Some of the reactions to 2009 don't look too good though, which is bad. Glad I haven't bought it.

No doubt they'll patch any problems, but it seems whenever patches are released to fix things, more problems are created. See each patch for 2008.

I have only had minor injuries on the demo and plan on installing the full version from my friends so i dont pay

Your PC, I suppose. The game would be slower than the demo though, so don't use several leagues and large database if you get the game.
