I find that I'm normally pretty good when I'm one-on-one, just open the player's body up and place it around the keeper, and in to the corner of the goal. You could also try to lob the 'keeper when one-on-one, this doesn't always work as well as the placement shot though.

same here. I love the fact that one on one goals are a challenge makes the game so rewarding but i seem to panic like a little bitch when in this situation

Miggy and I had a couple of games yesterday. I played as Cardiff in both, he played as Swansea first, then Palace. I won 2-0 in the first game, he won 1-0 in the second.

Both were very evenly matched though. Hopefully we'll have some more games in the future.

Yeah mate, they were tight games. I do enjoy being weaker teams it's more of a test then being the usual big teams.

I played Zoolander a few times. I won 2 out of 3 :smug: It's the reason why he's never on this site any more.

On topic; I couldn't get into Fifa 09 on PC at all. Back when I only had the PES 2009 demo, which included skiing, I still played that over the full version of Fifa. A very bad port, it seems.

The whole player movement with the mouse got me slightly excited but it was poorly implemented.

Pro Evolution Soccer still rocks my shorts.

No. Absolutely not. I'm having a torrid time on Legendary as Real Madrid. Can't defend headers.

Anyway, I just had a couple more games with Miggy. Won the first 2-1 after going 1-0 down (he was Plymouth, I was Burnley *EAGLES FTW!...didn't score though*) - The second I won 1-0 (I was Watford, he was Sheffield United, I believe) with an 85th minute header.

The games are ridiculously close though. It's surely only a matter of time before one of our games goes all the way to penalties.
