Why I still LOVE PES!

I've only just started a Masters League campaign as I've been concentrating on the CL mode and BAL (which so far I haven't really got in to). However, after just one game I remembered why I love this game so much! :happy:

I started with the default players and was playing really well. I hit the inside of the post twice in the first half and was well on top. However, I ended up losing the game 3-0, thanks to a couple of late break away goals by the opposition. In most games this would make me really angry but when the final whistle went I was actually smiling, just because it had been such a good game and could have gone either way.

I don't think there are many games out there that you would enjoy if you lost comfortably, sporting or not. THIS is why I will always love PES!!!

But it's that sorta thing that could make me go back to Pro Evo

So far there's been two post (excluding yours) and both show mutual respect for both PES and FIFA.......can't see the hate anywhere son

Me neither. But all it takes in the PES section of the board sometimes is a single post of like towards FIFA, and you're called a fanboy.

My post wasn't supposes to start a debate about PES v Fifa, I just wanted to state how much joy PES can still bring me.

Some people have been soo down on it but I still absolutely love it when you play that perfect game!

You seem genuinly happy with PES2009 mate...it's refreshing to see. My wee brother is like that as well!

I enjoy pes 09 too. I feel it's the best pes but it needs to improve. Next gen can hold more.

has onyone got an updated Option File for it? and also a patch as i would like to change the fireworks effect after scoring to somthing better

I too love pro evolution, and probably will always buy every pro!

BUT and it is a big BUTT, I may purchase fifa just for the online play!
