I think my puss froze once on COD4 when I tried to read a message, has not happened since though.

Yep. It's great.

It really is! It's still the same awesomeness of the first game... but improved graphically and... well the courses are superb. As are the monster trucks and the whole carnage.

I haven't either and I'm pretty sure Phatmann hasn't.
I haven't been on it since the mexican wave but that's mainly due to me moving my PS3 from halls back home and not bothering setting it up again. When I did bother to set it up, I had several new games to try out and so Home isn't that appealing. I doubt I'll be on it again for a while.
Apperently they are working on this, so this is a start http://uk.playstation.com/psn/ sign in the top left corner.
I'll check it out now.

My PS3 isn't reading any discs for some reason.:( It all happened during a game of LittleBigPlanet when, as the pod was loading after completing one of the levels, the screen went white. I pressed the reset button but after about 5 minutes it still hadn't reset, so I switched it off from the back. When I turned it back on again it didn't load the disc at all. I tried taking it out, putting it back in; taking it out, resetting then putting it in once the PS3 is loaded up; putting in a different disc, but none of these worked. When I put a disc in it comes up with the loading thing in the top right corner of the screen and does nothing else. Any help on this issue at all?

Looks like you'll need to ring up Sony mate and probs they'll take your faulty one replace it with a working one.

Sake, no I didn't. What does this mean then? Am I gonna have to get a brand new PS3 or summat?

Leaving the disc in could damage the Bluray reader. I take it out anytime the console freezes/crashes just as a precaution. Not saying this is the definite reason for it, but it's the cause in a lot of cases. Seems like it's a problem more common in the 60GB than the newer models, so hopefully there's a chance Sony will fix or swap it disregarding the warranty. I repeat, hopefully. :(

If they don't replace it I'm gonna have to wait a long time before get a new PS3 as I really can't afford it at the moment. Didn't even get to try out Metal Gear Solid 4 or Resistance 2.:(

You should be fine, but I warn you - they arranged to have my new PS3 sent out on the 24th - never arrived. Called them after Xmas, they said it was never even arranged, and so I know have to wait until 12th.

Ugh. My laser went too in October. It was still under warranty though so it got fixed by Total Console Repair and was back to me within the week. I lost everything on the PS3 though, as the HDD was replaced too. I guess that was also broken.

It's annoying. I can go days without playing my PS3 if I know it's there and working, but if I can't play the PS3 because it's not working, it frustrates the hell out of me. :/
