It gives you details on formations, how to play best with those formations, further details on master league, and the other modes, information on players etc etc etc

You could just buy it.. its like 15 bucks? I think its fantastic, but I don't have it in PDF format.

You can also go to youtube and type in PES 2009 Guide and you'll see the videos from 1/2 the DVD...

I'd also like to find a guide in PDF. There are some certain issues I don't know much about. Maybe somebody could help me in the first one on the list, can players in Master League acquire new positions by being played there? I mean as in BAL, when you are a registered SS but are played as CF you gain this position skill as well. I'm asking because I bought Wijnaldum, who's developing nicely, est. average of 90 etc. but he has CMF position only. I can, of course, play him as a CF, for example, but will he ever gain this in his stats, or it'll only show CMF?

Crap, I might seriously need that guide.

Its a good question, but I don't recall seeing it answered.. I'll take a look though and let you know if I find different.

BELIEVE
Just go out and buy it, it will only be about £5 now, especially off Ebay I imagine. Plus it's a lot neater than reading it all from a PDF file.

If I discovered a pdf file of the manual, I'd stay a little later at work and use the laser colour printer, double sided and make my own manual.

That's a possibility but I can see it costing your work a lot of money, can't see them being happy about it like.

Either way, if people are that desperate to buy the PES 2009 guide, simply pay the few quid that it will cost.

No kidding... how can you afford a $50 game but can't buy a $10 guide?!

If you've never had the guide before I highly recommend it... it's definitely improved my game, and it's just a damn good read and tells you things that the manual would NEVER tell you.

You can get it for around eight bob of game, also some of the stuff in the book refers to content on the DVD which you get with the book.
an hour+ DVD and the guide that has a fair amount of content, I don't think its that bad for the price.

What does it actually tell you? I can't imagine it being a huge help - unlike, say, one for a game based on a linear plot or something, with hidden items, ways to beat bosses, etc. All I can imagine it doing is telling you best formations for teams, and maybe clever ways of thing like heading better (using R2 for example).

Since it's an official Konami guide, it can't have classic players real names, or Spanish/English club names/kits, so I just can't see it justifying itself.
