I can't stress this fact enough..INJURY TIME

CaptainCabinet

Trapped In Cabinets
Since you paid a visit to Wikipedia and put in "the discretion of the man in charge" that means that the man in charge is favouring the AI 99,99% of the time ...which IMO takes the fairness out of the game and i believe to be considered a cheat.
Also you forgot to add these lines from your wikipedia search:

In matches where a fourth official is appointed, toward the end of the half the referee signals how many minutes of stoppage time he intends to add. The fourth official then informs the players and spectators by holding up a board showing this number."

Which in the case of pes is what we deal with. The referee signal is what the commentator is announcing. And that far proceeds that period nearly 99.99% of the team when the AI IS IN POSESSION.

The end result always lies with the referee but that happens when there's an freekick or injury and in most cases that isn't the issue, A CORNERKICK IS NOT AN OPTION FOR EXTRA TIME.The play continues till the AI gets a shot or you get a hold of the ball in which the AI ENDS THE GAME INSTANTLY.

That's why a clock counter needs to be implemented.

ps : explain 0 overtime ..that's in the FA LAW book as well..GTFOH:w00t

See that's why I can't even pay your replies no attention and I tend to ignore them from now on as you seem to still hold grudges from previous threads when most people coincided with me instead of the "I take it personal when somebody criticizes PES attitude of yours" and that's soooooooo laaaaaaame...I tried to nip it in the butt in my last thread in which I indicated to you that I don't have anything against your PESONALLY and I thought you'd be more mature about it now......but damn your grudge is stronger than I thought..I don't want to turn this into another me vs you and ether you..again...but check the replies I think everybody here agrees with this thread so......your should drawyour own conclusion..;)

I'm a qualified Referee, nice one mate. Not to mention that only retarded folk use Wiki as a source, as I believe I'm right in once saying it was once responsible for Eboué being god.

Again "Intends" the sole decision lands with the Ref, he can change it to his whim.

I clearly don't need to explain the "0 overtime" (as you so incorrectly put it), because of the above point. If the referee's feel that there has been no added time (which I agree is absurd) they may do this. However, does time stop exactly as the timer hits 45.00? No it doesn't does it.

Not to mention the fact that in the FA Law book it states that it is advisable not to stop the half when either team has an advantage of scoring, generally considered being in the last third. Which probably (I assume you are talking BAL and you play upfront, or at least in an attacking capacity) covers your whole point about time stopping just as you receive the ball.

Clearly you have no other mission than to carry on feeling you are being cheated, I don't have a problem with that, but you are by no means correct. I think you'll find that any time the ball is out of play, a referee's watch is not stopped, and as such time can and should be added. Just because it isn't generally doesn't make it right.

For your information, I don't need to hold a grudge against you when every single one of your posts is biased and heavily un-informed.

in my opinion i dont feel it needs sorted at all. It gives u as well as the COM as much of a chance to create a chance in injury time when you are in a good position. I dont think i could get used to the whistle being blown when i win a corner just because the injury time is e.g. 1 minute

Correct me if I'm wrong, but basically you said: "If you think its a problem, change the way you play, so the problem wont occur.".

Also, I dont think that the problem people have with the injury time is that it goes on too long. The problem is, is that injury time goes on too long when the AI has possession.

You're wrong :erm:

wow captaincabinet and OptimusPrime- i have to say i realy enjoy reading your arguments. thay are seriusly fun to read and are quite interesting to!
im guessing KONAMI wanted us to feel like the players and not the managers- the players dont have a stop watch in the top of their screen (?) and they only know when the stopage time is over by the amount of attacks that were going on. also, the refs have two watches ("looks at first watch, then at his other watch"- as the commentators say...) and they arent very precise. there for they can add extra or decrease.

QUOTED FOR EMPHASIS....

And oh yeah Cap Cabinet...NO PES doesn't cheat at all...all the things I'm experiencing is from being uniformed and biased:

- That my teammates can't give a good pass is biased
- Zero overtime existing in a game is biased
- Referee decisions being more towards the AI than the Player is biased
- Keeper making ridiculous spills is biased
- When your or your teammates are clearly are being slowed down and you get pace again when the AI has possesion of the ball is biased
- When you get subbed on during the match and your the best man on the field is biased
- When the AI is attacking 99% from the sidelines in every single games and your team doesn't anticipate on that's biased
- When your teammates can just pas the ball wide to another teammate but instead kicks it for a corner or for a throw in deep in your half is biased

GTFOH...:rolleyes::rolleyes:

You see according to you KONAMI made the perfect game and there are no cheats..now who's disillusioned

And untill you post your papers that you are a certified referee:

I DON'T BELIEVE YOU, YOU NEED MORE PEOPLE...;)

The AI cheats in ever game including fifa and pes. I hate this btw.

Correct, both games have a cheating AI, however nothing could ever match PES 2008 for cheating, just incredible the sort of shit that would happen when the computer would go 1-0 down, anything was possible as long as they scored.

And the injury time rule in PES is horrendous, if the CPU needs a goal they get 1-2 mins, (in reality they get longer depending on whether the cpu has decided it will score or not) if you need a goal.......0 mins added on.

i think the most annoying thing is when you are leading by one goal and its sttopage time. somehow the COM will get a corner kick and in a misterious way they will always score... annoyes the crap out of me.

spot on indeed, maybe people are just bottling it, or freaking out. But i have never experienced computer getting any advantage what so ever in injury time. if you have the ball in injury time, just outside their box, the ref wont blow the whistle, u can run around their for ages, passing about. He lets you finish the attack, like what it does with the com
