According to the time frame Konami use for us American PS3 users, we should be getting 1.30 in May :no:

I'm seriously considering the Euro version now. I'm tempted to sell my inferior American copy in ebay. :realmad:

Not trying to sound like dick, but why don't you ask them yourself?

More emails they get from NA users, more attention we'll receive and hopefully they'll realize that there's a big amount of PES fans outside the Europe.

i emailed them alot before christmas...they know my displeasure about things i give up and at the mercy of waiting

I have the North American PES 2009 for PS3 and recently I have been taking part in community discussion about the updates for Pro Evolution Soccer 2009. It seems that the 1.2 update was given to the rest of the world sometime last year and the American XBOX 360 update was sent out on Jan 20th. I've seen that you have already gotten e-mail about this and have responded stating that v1.2 update for America will be available for PS3 "soon".

That being said, are we to expect the same kind of lag time in the v1.3 update for America?!!! OR will the v1.2 update for America include the features that are available in the EU v1.3 update??! I am aware that the 1.3 update will be available for other parts of the world at the end of February. If the American versions are not going to be updated to 1.3 at the same time, do you have an explanation for this?

got you, it is really disappointing how they treat NA users. All of my friends in Europe are excited about new update, and are very surprise that we get such a treatment from Konami.

I bought pro evolution soccer for the playstation 3 a
couple of weeks ago. I am very concerned with the online
mode of the game. I have been playing many online games in
the ps3 such as Metal Gear Solid 4, Call of Duty 4, Grand
Theft Auto, etc. all these games work perfectly with no
lag. I have a 12 mb internet connection. The issue I have
is with pes2009. When I play online the game is
unplayable, about 90 percent of the other users show with
a bad connection (red) while the the rest which is very
rare have a yellow connection. After playing online for
all this time I have been able to play against only two
other people with a green connection. This is very
disappointing. I went online to the pes2009 site, I ran
the internet speed test there and I get As on all the
categories which should mean my connection is perfect for
playing it. I have opened the port in the router firewall
and the online lag is still there. I have been browsing
online for solutions like these and it seems many other
people complain about the same problem. I want to know
what I can do about this, I am very dissapointed also for
the lack of support for the American version of the game,
It has been 3 months or more when the 1.2 patch was
released for the European version and now they are getting
patch 1.3 and here in the Americas we don't even have
patch 1.2. I want to know what I could do about the
internet lag? and when is the American version getting the
patches? are we getting patch 1.2? when do we get patch
1.3? Please help, I love Pro Evolution Soccer so much, but
things like this cant happen and if it keeps going like
that I will have to start buying soccer games from other
developers. Thank you very much.

I have a question,

do you guys have problems with the online gameplay? cause my lags a lot, 95% of all the other players show with a red connection. However I can play any other ps3 online game perfectly. I get only A;s in the speed test for pes2009. (as I say in the email). Do you kknow if patch 1.2 will fix this? do european users have the same problem? thanks alot!

^^^Personally i have given up on it completely. I am just happy playing it offline, i havent even bothered playing online cause of my lag issues.

I think they have produced an automated reply for that, is it or not??!
and there is no answer about the 1.3 or even that the US 1.2 patch will include whats in the EU 1.3 patch.

oh, and its the same reply from [email protected] & from [email protected] as i have sent to both of them.

Could you guys post how many "final" OP we have ? I really don't feel like getting rid of NA for UK version, since I would like to play someday online with you guys, if that's going to be ever possible
