Yeah I had the xbox automatically update with that patch when I went to play pes just now.

I think the update it downloads when you turn it on doesnt do anything until you actually download in the game's system settings, so i believe that until it becomes available there it wont have changed anything.

EDIT: sorry the above is just for janary transfers

downloaded the 1.3 update in system setting ... but when going to download inside PES it says no update available .. duh ?

they done it this way so every1 has no problems at downloading the update patch like last time read the statments ffs

Alright guys, ive just downloaded the big update !

I thought I would paste everything that was mentioned in the update, so here goes....

This download will update four Spanish sides –

C. ATLETICO MADRID,
SEVILLA F.C,
R.RACING C.
And VALLADOLID,

-all of whom will be officially licensed. Furthermore, it will also update the kits and team rosters of many teams within the game.

The UEFA Champions League mode will also benefit from the new update, with twelve more teams added to the club list, with proper UEFA Champions League kits and kit markings added.

The following team kits will be updated by the PES patch (once download content data has been validated). Please be aware that any kit data edited by the user before the download will be lost.

didn't see a statement about the split release

i was making a general point about the way konami handle their company ie; when a company releases something they usually give a specific release date not something like "the end of february" and when a company has a product that's not finished (pes2008) they would usually delay its release instead of giving people an inferior product.
after that i was just hoping we didn't get a repeat of the last update fiasco

This is the exact message that comes up on PS3:


New data will be released this week, it contains the player's movements during the winter transfer window.

You can update the game by selecting "Download" from System Settings

i downloaded some update for PC and it only gave me the summer transfers.

by the way u know the 1.20 update did they do the tranfers for those cause when ever i play online there is no berbatov at manutd with players like saha still at manutd

and yeh there hasnt been any new boots yet
