I have what maybe deemed a stupid so don't jump on me. I'm an American in the UK but wife bought a NA version of Pes. Can I go to a store in uk and buy the uk version and it'll work in my PS3?

How is it that the NA 360 users now have what appears to be the 1.30 update but the ps3 users stil have nothing? Unless they plan on relesing it all at once which I doubt. This is ridiculous.

I think Konami is in bed with Microsoft here in the US or something. No other reason they would ignore the PS3 here but everywhere else its the first platform to get a update. Konami is really angering people.

sure i can i call yell to my teammates to shoot it in real life or cross the ball if there is an open teammate in the box or to yell to myteammate to double up on a guy dribbling if im guarding him...these are all things you can do in fifa...being able to tell him to play me thru rather than a pass to my feet...its just a touch more detailed is all

I sent a e-mail to konami japan in japanese saying that North American users are furious and telling people not to purchase NA version of PES because of shitty service they provide amd please let your CEO know they aren't doing they job :realmad:
I know it won't work at all but just wondering what kind of response i would get lol. probably Japanese-automated replies?

Yes but in real life those players have their own mind and will do their own thing 9 times out 10. They know when to shoot. I think BAL is a much better overall set up then BAP. And all the extra options in FIFA to tell your teammates what to do just covers up the crappy AI you see when you play against CPU controlled teams. BAL isnt perfect, but with their first try at it, Konami destroyed EA's

Hey guys, I dont post much but this topic is just to good to pass up. Ive been playing PES since it was ISSS way back in the day and always loved the game. But as the game tried to evolve on the Next Gen platform, it failed and lost its fine FORM we all grew to love. Now im not gonna lie I converted over to FIFA 09. It provides me with a great game of football. I can play all my friends online no matter what part of the world there in, which is really a big selling point. I still play PES 09 but with the lack of customer support, and the run around game they play on us Ps3 users I just said screw it. Im not gonna waste my time trying to make konami smell the coffee, there is a big market over on this side of the pond but if they dont want to stand by their product, im not shelling out my hard earned cash for there BS anymore! EA sports has updates WEEKLY I mean come on now Konami WTF. Sorry guys had to vent lol.

this FIFA thing is starting to intrigue me.
Is the playability and the realism of the movements/controls as good as PES?
I tried fifa a looooong time ago and I always refused to play it again because lack of realism compared to ISSS/WE (I was playing it on PS2 at that time).
But now it looks like that this is not true anymore.
Fifa has come a long way gflyer, the movements can seem slugish at times but at the same time you gotta ask your self could you really turn at a 90 degree angle while sprinting full speed and not have to adjust your body. I mean sometimes i play PES and it amazes me at how quickly the likes of Messi can turn on a dime when not even in real life are those movements possible. The controls of fifa in my opinion are excellent just the vast amounts of moves at your dissposal are amazing. Id recommend you download the demo and give it ago, with the camera set on Dynamic view it almost looks like the PES we all want. Now if only Ea and Konami joined forces hmmmmm wonder how that would work out.

I just read all the messages in this thread, and i just need to express my anger and let it out of my system. It is amazing how konami do this to us, i will never be buying the NA version again, i'm from south america so i bought the NA version, but i never thought konami will do this to us.
It is so frustrating, but well, now i feel a little better. Shame on konami!!!

That and ML is still something that FIFA can't equal. Konami still makes the best footy game but there lack of support, and updates and horrible online play is costing a lot of customers. the next year or so with konami will make or break me as a customer of theirs.
