Yup, that's pretty much the way it goes. Unless of course you limit yourself to how many players you're bringing in, so it'd take longer for step 16 to take effect.

It's the same with any football game though. If your team becomes full of superstars, you're bound to master (no pun intended) it sooner or later.

Yep, I agree. Think this is why ML needs a revamp. One way to increase the longevity would be to make your top performers hand in transfer requests if another top club came in for them. This would mean you'd have to re-build your squad a bit more and might not have as much success for a while?

Having said that, it could also be quite annoying if you finally get your star striker and a season later he wants to leave though! :realmad:

Good idea would make you have to play players more often to please them and would give you something to think about.

The mode needs more depth. Ive said it alot but a youth team is simple but really effective. In the ML the youth team would allow you to buy and sell youngsters and bring them up in a team that plays competitive matches and can be a place to help your young players gain the development points that they would otherwise miss out on by sitting on the bench or playing the odd 20 mins. It would also be quite good in the menu checking them out to see who's performing well and thus who should get a call up. It would be really good to have a star rise through your youth system and become a legend at your club. I'd say the youth team should be for 17-19 year olds. Each club would have a youth system filled with created players or players from the main squad they've pegged down. When they reach 20, if the players have not had a call up or have been left back down in the youth team then their contract is terminated and they are released to become free agents. It would add another level into the mode and you wouldnt have to micro manage atall.

definately a great idea. i've thought of that before, that it would be a cool idea to at least have a reserve league that works in the background training and playing matches so all the benchwarmers that you never get to play will have a chance to build themselves up a bit instead of just rotting on the bench.

so instead of players getting reborn u can get new youth players or players that are at the club but deep in to the reserves or even the academy

I have a question... I have recently ended my second year with Liverpool and I won bot the league, the cup and the "champions league" but when I was going to buy players I couldnt get any players with points higher than 2000. In some case the club accept the offer but the player wouldnt go.
Whats up with that?
What am I doing wrong?

I know what you mean! The Manager Mode on Fifa lets you know after each game how happy the board are with you and how happy the fans are with you with a score out of 100. It also gives you a rating out of 10 as a manager. And you can move to a new team if you want, which would mean a new challenge.

Masters League is still ahead of Fifa in many other areas but I think PES 2010 HAS to bring in something like this in the masters league if it's to be a success and freshen things up.

There hasn't really been any major changes to master league for years and I would be very surprised if they decide to add anything new in the next game.

They have to Punzz otherwise they're gonna lose a lot of loyal fans, myself included. Masters League is still great fun to play but nothing has really changed with it for years!
