Master League sins

I had a terrible season and so I changed the level to amateur from world class in end of season negotiation games in order to get points and avoid game over



How low have you stooped to ensure a win, a transfer or to prevent game over etc..?

You cheeky monkey. I've never changed the difficulty down on PES, I just start at pro and slowly increase to world class after a couple of seasons. I once had to sell all my best players though and had a squad of just the 16 default players as I overspent on transfers but didn't want to have to start again and couldn't reload due to autosave.

I managed to stay up by 1 point but it was arguably the most exciting season I've ever played on Masters League

I know it was wrong but the thought of starting again with the default players fills me with a gloomy dread.

I didn't raise the difficulty before the EURO Championships on BAL even though I probably could've.

I wanted to win. Now I have to live with the shame xD

i work my way up from pro as well. ive nevre had relegation woes though. and i always put the best teams in my master league..real madrid, barcelona, man u, etc. etc. i wish i had relegation woes that would be kind of fun

As usual i will go for top player difficulties for every pes new release version. But for this year, If you not choose for exhibition match team ( actual player in the team ). I think quite too hard to play in top player difficulties with default or created team...

I put the difficulty down to professional to win cups :erm:


Can't be dealing with going out in the final to some flukey goals, and having wasted a load of time now can I?

I always put difficulty up to world class when I get promoted. It makes it so much more realistic. I remember one season I scraped a 0-0 draw away at Old Trafford and I was jumping around like I won the cup! :w00t

We lost 4-0 against Fulham in the very next game though and that brought me back down to earth. :crymore:

I don't give a shit, i'm not wasting time getting to the final of a cup, only to lose by some 97th minute goal.

No point.

In master league I can proudly say i've never cheated though.

Worst I've done in Master League would be changing the timing of the match from 10 minutes to 30 minutes at the end of the season against a shit team in order to get one of my players the golden boot and get the cash prize for that.

Didn't fiddle with the difficulty though.

I'd won the league, the cup, and as my Liverpool team, unbeaten this season strolled out against Barcelona in the Champions League Final. I dominated them, had all the ball, but couldn't find the net, finally scored, then they hit me on a counter late on and got it into extra time. Then last minute, Gudjonsen pops up outside the box, hits a tame shot that rolls to Reina, who completely spills it; but all seems well, as Agger rushes in.. I press square to clear, and he belts it right into the top corner of my own net. I was just too annoyed to have my unbeaten season ruined, so yes... I admit, I restarted and thumped them 4-1.

I can freakin' play PES and talk about "doggies and kitties" (or whatever she's on about) at the same time for $#%@$ sake!!!

Have to admit that the brother/sister problem was a problem. They would put you off your game and trying to blame em' would seem stupid because they aren't really intentionally affecting your game. I shout at my brother if I go a goal down no matter how good he has behaved.

I have reseted games, ever since PES2 and its all down to the lifelong problem of seemingly crapper opposition becoming literally superhuman; they would win every ariel battle, every 50-50, every shot is on target and every pass is supremly accurate. On top of that, nothing can be done to beat them cos all your players become retartedly shit.

After playing this game for so long, I know when this is about to happen and just reset it.
