I had this theory that once youve won a good 5 games consecutively. The game would be fed up with it and make sure it broke the chain. Bad if they chose a team like Stoke cos it would be embarassing. Even worse if it was a high class team cos they would seem invincible. Believe me, CL its happened.

No matter what happens I can't bring myself to reset a game. It defeats the entire purpose for me...

Just last night, I faced some scrappy team in D1 and I let a stupid goal in early in the game.. where a over the top pass hit their striker perfectly, while my Defender was jerking off into his mouth and I tried to get my goalie out there to intercept but he paused for a split second for some reason and they scored.

I then felt determined to demolish them and for the next 85 minutes or so I put on a monumental assault! I hit the cross bar 3 times, I had three 1 on 1 opportunities blocked by the keeper, had another hand full of great shots blocked as well... it was just one of those games... I just could not score no matter what I did. My goal is to get 1st in D1 this season (finsihed 2nd to Inter last season ) and this loss certainly does not help me achieve my goal.. btu I couldn't bring myself to reset it no matter how bad the loss felt.

I just went ahead and exacted my revenge on poor Inter in the 1st away leg of the D1 cup in the following match with a 3-0 ahnialation, and then two games later demolished my 1st leg opponent in the Champ League with another 3-0 ahnialation.

I can't reset it when I lose because no matter how much better I play than the other team this stuff can happen in soccer.. and it does.. it happens in every sport. Sometimes no matter how dominating a team can be they can still lose on one silly goal... it is what it is, and I must just deal with it.

Last season I went 30 league games without losing or drawing. Came up against the might Hull City and the bast@rds beat me 3-1 lol

If you reset the game when you lose then it takes the fear of losing out of the game and makes playing it completely pointless! That's my view anyway, I've never have and never will reset. However, I do agree that sometimes you just know your not gonna win against the computer!

Yeah, I guess I should think of my sister's pointless blathering while I'm playing as a simulation of crowd or player trash talking. I need to learn to tune her out, just like players need to tune out all that stuff said in real games.
