PES 2009 Match Day Standalone Patch

This patch is designed as a standalone meaning that it is independent from the original game client pes2009.exe which makes this patch
compatible with probably any version of PES 2009.
This patch uses kitserver.



This patch includes:
*a separate option file save location independent from the original. This allows for you to use a different option file with the original exe.
*Licensed teams from the EPL, Ligue 1, Serie A, Budesliga, LFP, Eredivisie, and many other Fifa licensed clubs as well as over

I cant believe I didnt notice that and thanks for bringing it to my attention.
I'm currently working on a fix setup to automatically fix that issue but you can correct it manually by opening the map.txt file in \kitserver\GDB\uni within your game's directory.

Copy and paste the following and save:

i still can't download mdsetup.exe. i tried it twice and the progress bar would freeze at around 85% then it'll say it failed and can't download. i never had any problems with rapidshare tho and i just downloaded something else from RS just fine. try uploading somewhere else?

good patch, but this is very similar to vitumbiko's patch. are you sure you didn't just use his mod, complete the winter transfers, and then just add in the ESPN board and change the menu screen? all the faces are the same as the ones in vitumbiko. kits and club list are the same too, and coincidentally, you even have the same glitches his mod has like the eredivisie having bundesliga kits and the "X" ball indicator being missing. all the created players also have the same player ID number. and the face/hair links are also the same numbers

if you really did copy his mod or use his mod as a starter, please credit vitumbiko because he worked hard on it

Yes, I used vitumbiko patch and made the changes I mentioned and kept his. I didn't credit him because i forgot to but I will along with the rest of the people responsible for the faces, themes etc.
My main intention for this patch was to make it possible for anyone, regardless of PES version, to be able to play it. That is something that vitumbiko's patch failed in doing.

Anyways to fix the "x" ball indicator glitch simply remove all files in \kitserver\img\cv01.img except for:
unnamed_2.bin, unnamed_3.bin, unnamed_4.bin, unnamed_5.bin, unnamed_6.bin, unnamed_7.bin, unnamed_8.bin, unnamed_9.bin, unnamed_12.bin and unnamed_14.bin
I would appreciate more of your input regarding this patch. I hope to continue where vitumbiko left off.

my biggest problem with vitumbiko's patch is that it crashes after about 2-3 seasons in master league for some reason... i dunno why. it doesn't happen with any other mod, but it crashed 3x using vitumbiko's patch. reloading the save file doesnt work

I haven't played master league using vitumbiko's patch. In fact, I realized I had that patch on my computer only weeks ago:rolleyes:.
I would like to know more information regarding the crash. Information such as what's your game version? when does it crash? during a match or menu? does the entire exe crash? what game level do you play on? league? the team that you use? Team popularity? awards won? do you use classic players?

This is probably a result of conflicting bin files that are executed simultaneously after certain events within master league. I'll look into it and will get right back at you when i figure out whats causing this.

Its also quite possible that the same problem doesn't occur with the Match Day patch

These was the crash I had with Vitumbiko's patch. This happened to me 3x.

Since you have the same players and kits, I tried transferring the ML save files to your modfolder in My Docs and it would still have the same crash.

The crash would always happen on the loading screen where it would show the player list of both teams. The first time this happened was in the second season of my Chelsea Master League game vs Bayer Leverkuson. The second time this happened was in the third season of my Man Utd Master League game during the post-season matches vs Copenhagen. The third time this happened was during the first season FIRST game of my Inter master league game vs Bayer Leverkuson.

Here are the screenshots. During all three crashes, I had the same error.

Alright, in that case I believe I know what is wrong. The problem is that those teams(Copenhagen, Bayer Leverkuson, and frankfurt) have player face models that, when rendered, cause the game to crash probably because it uses a different palette than the standard or the png. image surpasses alocated memory for that bin.
I addressed those issues in my second patch fix:

If you already installed it and your ML still crashes it's because those players still have the faulty face bin within the ML file. But otherwise I think the patch fix corrects that problem for good.

Did you install the patch fix I mentioned? Like I previously said, even if you tried using your ML file, in this case PES2009_ML19.bin, it would still crash because every time you create a new ML game it copies the data from the edit file PES2009_EDIT01.bin. Your ML game file has the old data so unfortunately it will still continue to have the same problem regardless. I'm quite sure that with the fix patch you wont encounter the same problem with any new ML games.
