Hitting the Post and failing consecutive wins

I play on regular and rather prefer to stay on this difficulty as I'm one of those guys who like to throw joy sticks around....lol

I only have the game two weeks now and really enjoy it as I used to with PES 6. The problem however that annoys me is the fact that I cant seem to get to the 10th straight victory then got beats by the worst team in the league. I managed three times now to win 9 games in a row but lost to bottom team on the tenth. This is really something KONAMI should look into in the coming PES 2010 as it is ridiculous to get beaten by the worst teams yet I beat the crab out of the closest rivals. How often does it happen in real life that bottom teams beats teams like MANU, Liverpool Arsenal and Chelsea. I have now make peace to be beaten by lower ranked teams especially the five from the bottom. One other thing is how freaking many times do I have to hit the post before scoring? I think goal scoring in this game is also random; nobody will convince me that I literally hit the post in every game two to three times.

Well although I agree sometimes its ridiculous how you can destroy United then get outplayed by West Ham, you must look only to this season in the Premier League

Liverpool beat United twice, Chelsea twice, drew with Arsenal twice. But lost to Tottenham and Middlesborough, as well as drawing to lower teams like Stoke etc, which cost us the title, so there is a sense of realism..

How often does it happen, rare if you ask me. This season may be one out happening for Liverpool but the rest of the big clubs wins if not pretty comfortable.

Read the rules before double posting next time. :)

Also, while we're on the subject of "realism," it's not realistic for you to be smashing the big sides every single time anyway.

Chelsea's problem in the PL this season, along with Liverpool's earlier on was that they couldn't put away the smaller teams. They'd defend for their lives, making it hard to be broken down. That's why Liverpool drew with teams like Stoke and lost to teams like Middlesbrough and Spurs, both when they were bottom of the league. It happens.

How was I double posting? Again how often does it happens that smaller teams beats the big four? Not very often and in PES 2009 it happens on a regular basis.

Well, it's called "scripting" and, yes, it's very annoying.

I tell you now a story:

Once upon a time a game company faced a situation: what should they do when two teams with a large difference in stats play each other?
One game developer said (with Japanese accent):
- It will be too easy for the stronger side. The people will complain that our game is too easy. What should we do?
They thought about improving the IA. No, too much work. When they were almost giving up, the solution: scripting!
- Yes, we can write a script to make the things more difficult and more exciting. For example, the weaker team will have less ball possession but on the other hand, it will have an easier possibility to score. We can even make the things go to this direction, no one will realize.
- Great idea! And sometimes we can make the weaker team stronger and faster to compensate. To be funnier, we can decrease the stats of the stronger team a bit, then they will be slower and miss more passes. It will be great!
- And what do you think about messing up a bit with the shooting stats?
- Like what?
- Like making the stronger team unable to score - at least in the beginning. Let's make them hit the post many times.
- Hehehehehe. Great!!!

Two posts saying exactly the same thing are almost always by mistake/the board messing up anyway.

No big deal. You know now. :)

Rubberband AI - check it on Wikipedia.

Regardless of whether you can't get to Win No. 10, your still playing the game - thats all that matters.

Had you won 30 games in a row you'd be bored. I know I would be.
