How many people have this on the PS3?

Perhaps we could have a tournament/league or something?

I'm not brilliant at this game yet, not shit either (I don't think I am anyway :/) but I'd be very interested in taking on some of you and then finding out who is the PESGaming champion. :)

awesome idea, i'm up 4 that

Yeah it is stupid not to include it, seeing as it was very popular with the players of Round 3.

Get it Dan so you can take part in the tournament we're gonna have ;) Gonna be ace - more people are needed though!

No probs.

GAME was too packed today, so I priced the games I was selling in Cash Maker and then CEX. I traded Blazing Angels, Brothers in Arms: Hells Highway and Driver Paralell Lines with Cash Maker and got £20, which was a good price, but they offered me a disgraceful £10 for Fight Night Round 4, so I headed to CEX and got £24 pound, which made it £44 for all four games. Im happy.

To people on the fence about this game: Do not buy. Its good for one day then its boring. You are welcome.

evolution of the game aint it? honestly, before the demo came out
i thought 'i hope the face buttons are on the real game' but they
werent.

once you get used it, it's loads better, much more realistic i
think

It feels alright to me, if they do bring out face buttons patch I'll try it out, but I'm used to the analog now so I'm not sure whether I'd go with the face or just stick to the stick.

muscularmatt, you got PS3 or Xbox?

I wouldnt call an evoltution of the game. The game is a let down in my opinion... Fight Night Round 4:

Cons:

- Graphics.
- How easy it is to use the RS, flick it like mad and put together a combo.
- In any difficulty, how easy it is to knockout someone or at least rock them.
- The sound when you land a punch. Sounds like punching a volleyball.
- You cant taunt.
- The fireworks that appear when you catch someone after weaving/counterpunching.
- The fighters. Theres not much choice.
- Career mode is just as repetitive as the 3rd. At least the third had 'Rivals'.

Pros:

- Mike Tyson.

The choice? It looks quite expansive to me. Who would you have wanted in there?

And the Boxer Share feature, so you can expand the choice of boxers yourself, I've downloaded quite a few which has made the list of fighters to choose from pretty good.

yeah man i think it's awesome tbh, alot more realistic than 3 -
knockouts don't just happen in the last quarter of a fight.
but yeah, it would be nice if you could taunt.

and yeah the boxer share thing is ace, anyone who complains that
there isnt enough fighters on the game, use this! you can get most
of the world's well known fighters in a flash!

and yeah i'm on ps3. my id is MuscularMatt

In my opinion, FNR3 is a better game and is more enjoyable, more realistic and it plays better. They should have updated FNR3 and revamped the Career Mode - That would have been quality. Unfortunatly, its a let down.

People seem to like this game because its super easy in every mode. Just flick the RS and youll be alright.

i think the novelty of this game has worn off.

i pick it up and think about putting it on then just put it back and have a game on my ML.

i even play vegas 2 ahead of this now.

trade in time me thinks

well it aint worn off for me. i would urge all boxing fans to get it.

and charlie, too easy? wtf?? FNR3 is WAY too easy, even on 'hard' the AI fighter react reeeaaally slowly. it's just as easy to bash buttons than to wiggle a stick...

Alright calm down, fanboy. Its my opinion at the end of the day. Both are easy games like, but FNR3 is better anyway.

Anyone play this much? Decided to go on this yesterday, had 2 fights online, and to say I haven't played this in months and months, I quite enjoyed it.

First one, I was Mike Tyson vs. Lennox Lewis, I won with a 8th round TKO, turned out I won all the rounds except 1 up to that point too, to my surprise

And the second fight, I went for a Middleweight bout and went for Miguel Cotto (really rate him in real-life boxing) and the other guy was De La Hoya. Lost on split decision. Was a very close and enjoyable contest though, knocked him down twice and I got back up off the floor twice too.
