I have all but one. Even with assistance from other who have it, I've never located the damn thing.

Edit: It's the Unarmed one I'm missing...

I've got five or six but without any aid except checking information on the Deathclaw Sanctuary and finding I'd saved my game LOOKING at the bobblehead without realising it was there :faceplm:

Apart from the ones you stumble past as part of the main quest, I came across mine while searching for ammo etc. (didn't get Dogmeat until after I'd reached the final part of the story so had to fing my own!)

The only one I have seeked helpon isthe last one I'm missing. I got so fedup of being told how easy it was that I switched away from Fallout & haven't been back for some time.

Must get some DLC after payday... not up to speed with them all, so what are the best?

You playing on a console fick?

I only got Dogmeat after the first DLC but I'm loathe to watch him die so I keep him at Vault 101.

on 360... so nothing free.

As for Dogmeat, I toldhim to stay at my Megaton house. Only found that out reading back through this thread! Didn't see the point of a weak mutt liability I guess.

I finished Mothership Zeta a few hours ago - didn't really like it all that much. Point Lookout, the fourth DLC, was lovely though. Had a good atmosphere to it.

Hunger, thrist and sleep penalties. Storms which increase your sneak skill. Rain and snow weather effects (without them settling)...why it must be Fallout 3 on PC :>.

Downloaded those mods yesterday plus one to change the weapons and create greater cross-over for repairs and it makes the game a lot more interesting. There are also mods for tougher opponents and slower levelling to really give you a proper wasteland effect - and make the game very hard.

It is necessary to sleep at least 6 hours per day, eat four bits of food per day and drink perhaps once or twice each day. Makes a hell of a lot more use for drugs and alcohol.

that sounds awesome, especially the latter aspects of alcohol and food use; would make scavenging for shite more integral to the game instead of opening inventory *dont need that* close inventory.

I didn't use drugs or food AT ALL in my first game so it does make things a hell of a lot more interesting. The weapons mod changes the weight of weapons to make it more realistic which is good. Takes a bit of getting used to as the weapon names are different but with different ammo too, it takes a bit of getting used to which only increases the difficulty to begin with.

Q: if I have an account in one country can i download the expansion then play it in my other account which is in another country?
Q: where do i find "The Pitt" expansion?
Q: "Broken Steel" download says in the bottom: "you will need fallout 3 with product code BLES-00333", what is this code for?
thanx

There's an expansion match on the Playstation Store now. Think it costs £7.99.

just saw it thanx...
but the problem is that in my country they sell a european Fallout 3 that has a BLES-00333 code... and they sell a U.S PS3 store card so i can't buy the expansion>>> really cleaver.

This DLC doesn't want to work. I'm trying to continue the main game with the Broken Steel pack, but even if I get the girl to activate project purity, the game just goes to the "War, war never changes" end scene. I'm sitting through the credits now, just to check if that works.

Why oh why do I only have two saves, both of which are in the final room. :faceplm:!

If I have to restart the game I'm not going to be pleased. That'll be 30 hours down the drain.

Are you enabling the ESM file (if that's what the extension is...) in the launcher prior to starting the game?

The credits should not begin if it is working.

I'm on the 360, so no.

Credits just finished and I was taken back to the main menu.

So it turns on the woman put the Operation Anchorage and The Pitt DLC in the case, rather than Broken Steel and Point Lookout. I honestly don't know how I didn't realise this sooner, but it when I went to install it again last night I twigged. :faceplm: It's all good though, I took it back this morning and exchanged it for the correct disc, so now I have 4 lots of DLC for a tenner.

I've decided to carry on my old game, where I'm almost at level 17 and leave the new game I started for when I want to play through the game again as an evil character.

After not playing for about a week due to the Liberty Prime glitch,
I re-loaded my save and HE MOVED! FINALLY!!

Mega Bump but fuck it, who cares when it's for a game as good as this.

Bought the GOTY version on the PS3 yesterday and thanks to having no cable TV or internet I put around 4 hours in. Currently going for a lone gunslinger character. Gone primarily for Perception, Endurance, Intelligence and Agility while excelling in repair, small guns and medicine. Decided to choose Megaton over Tenpenny Tower and casually exploring.

Saw three guys walking round, and the radar labelled them friendly, but turns out they were actually bounty hunters sent to kill me since i'm a white knight of the waste. Managed to waste two of them with a grenade, before pummeling a crippled one to death with a baseball bat.

I love the atmosphere of this game so much more than Fallout New Vegas, and thats probably the reason why I never finished NV, I can see myself playing this through to completion again, and the fact 4 out of the 5 DLC are new to me means I have plenty of new shit to see and do.

Vanilla is definitely superior to vanilla NV but there are plenty of mods to change the atmosphere, weather etc. of both in a positive way. I'm playing New Vegas at the moment.
