[PC] PES 2009 SMoKE Patch 1.7

about the OF, half of the editing is done on the option file, adding players, modifying relinking faces or banners or anything else touches the OF in a way or another thats why there will be always a new one with each patch (or update).

we do make updates for all our patches, like the one you are using there is a 1.5.1 which you install on the 1.5, the latest is the 1.6.1 which you have to install over the 1.6 and so on..

the 1.7 is goin to be the ultimatum, everything is revised carefully specially the matters that caused crashes in the past, all teams are revised player by player,,,, it is taking time but it is probably the last patch we will release for PES2009 so it should be as perfect as could be...

I know about 1.5.1 and 1.6.1 but what I meant is that when you make a whole new release (like the coming 1.7) why don't you make an update release from 1.6 (or 1.6.1) to 1.7 , I mean sure you ain't starting from scratch

ah i understand now, well one of the reasons is there are files must be deleted (like faces) and it will be a war if i include (deleting files or renaming previous files) in the install instructions, and the size of the patch will not be that smaller because the kits will be updated as well which means big file size as well.
installing over another copy WILL make the game bug, and it will be different from user to user, thats why a new package of a patch is the good way to do it.

stuck on loading

Hi Guys,

First of all i want to thank you for this patch which make my enjoy even greater to play pes 2009.

I followed the instructions to install the patch, but when i tried to to play the game it got stuck when on the loading screen just before stated to play the game itself.
I tried to install and then uninstall with no success.

anybody can help?

on some computers it takes long time to load due to the huge amount the game loads .. read the troubleshoot file :

- this is normal cause of the new things loaded in the game, however some antivirus programs might add more time to load or even crash cause of re-scanning the bins, it shouldn’t take more than a minute with low end PCs, if it takes more than that then it could be because the patch was installed over another patch or the antivirus is blocking the bins, try deactivating the AV."""""

Well, i waited for something like 5 minutes... i guess it should have been started till then.

have u installed any other patches before? have u install any konami updates? have u installed everything in the correct place?

what is in includ with the new update? if you waiitng for the finish of the transfer market, maby just relase it , and in the end, add the transfers that was missing

we are updating all teams now, transfers are part of that, release will be expected near the 25th of this month

this shouldn't happen, probably your antivirus or your firewall is blocking the loading of the .bin files, check that out.

yes it is one of the reasons why the patch will be out near the 25th, they will be updated as well.

I'm not sure but I've heard dido talking about it to update rosters and some other stuff for teams in-game. So may be, only may be.

Championship only changes:

- the championship league does not replace french league.
- ONLY Biggest 12 championship teams replaces some teams in others B, (in ML or BAL mode you can put all 12 teams in 2nd division)

Release approximate date:

- near the 25th of august.

but since i have downloaded installed the patch ive been crashing after few weeks on Master leauge the team im crashing against is Man Utd and im not getting new kits :S
plz could you help me out oh yeah and i have applied the 1.6.1 update

u should not have crashes, please explain not getting new kits, do you mean u cant see the kits installed in the patch? if so then something is not installed correctly and that could cause crash too.

mine is crashing on 3rd season and 10th fixture and jus when i try to play match wen its loading and crashing i thought it was option file so i tried to get option file from the pes 2009 in game system data and updated from there now its asking me everytime that do you want to overwrite and stuff its giving me headeche :shocking: is there anyway that i can turn it off which says overwrite the option file,,, and yh i cannot see the new kits installed they are old i did see it when i installed the patch evrything was perfect but after few matchs it got messed up + i dont want to start new master leauge cuz 2010 is coming out soon so plz do let me know the solution

i think you have something missed up, maybe u installed a new faces or something on your own?
anyway to find out if the patch caused the problem send the ML save file to [email protected] so i can test it

no i havent installed any new face or anything except the patch and update yes i will send u my file now but could you plz tell me how to delete the option file from the official update from the system settings which i downloaded thanks in advance cheers
