Ok we all know how awesome pes is on pc for its editing mode.now in other departments also i think pc is the best platform. The graphics looks lot better on pc no doubt. And pc doesnt have any framerate issue like ps3 (in pes2009). So what you guys think ? Pc is the best platform for pes2010 ?

YOU ARE TOTALLY WRONG.

Good for you.
And editing is basically the same in edit mode. And the PC games can be opened and extracted and patched. On the X360 you can do that but the ps3 doesn't have a mod chip. That's the reason.

The graphics looks lot better on pc no doubt.
:no::faceplm:
A lot?
Maybe sharper textures and slightly better shadows but nothing more. You SHOULD SEE A PS3/X360 ON FULL HDTV with HDMI and then comment.

Why the hell does everybody say that pes 2009 on ps3 had framerate issues. IT DOESN'T.
Pes 2008 on xbox360 had and on ps3 it had more, but in pes 09, I have both X360 and ps3 and the framerate is stable. No slowdowns or any other framerate issues.

As for the best platform.
I get it on consoles. Probably ps3 because of PNG's.
PC gives me too many problems like crashing.

you cant compare PC's and consoles its just bolloks... consoles are for just gaming where as PC are multi task machines so they need to be powerful....

plus PC's video games are highly moddable.....

ive just got pes for pc after previously owning it on 360
i use hdmi cable for pc to 32" hdtv and its slightly better graphically but not by much, and obviously console games are only 720p arent they,or even lower for ps3 ive been told, where as pc has much higher resoloutions what makes a big difference in most games . but i cant tell that much difference between 1280-720 and 1920-1080 with pes unlike gta4 for example

These type of threads just descend into the same moronic circular bickering that the "which is best, FIFA or PES threads" do.

Give it a rest.

Glad someone said it. Half the threads in the 2010 discussion are circle jerks to say the least.

Hmm....i'm not a specialist in this kind of issue, But i have my own view as well, just wanna share with you guys.

1. Pes 2009 only able to support max 720p resolution which is HD only NOT full HD.

2. pes 2009 definitely have frame issue (for ps3 and xbox). But it depends of what type of tv or LCD that you are using. If you just using standard tv or Normal LCD ( full HD or HD) i'm sure that you can see the moving object appear a lot of blur shadow, especially in black colour such as hair, boot and kits. If using the more high spec LCD such as sony bravia Z series with 200hz motion flow it will 100% solve the problem, BELIEVE ME.

^I don't know about my lcd (if it's 200hz in motion) but it doesn't do it on my ps3.
For example fifa 09 has more framerate issues that pes 09 (doesn't mean to start a fanboy fight).

it's best on 360...no framerate issues like ps3, better online, slightly darker lesser cartoon like visuals, you can play your own music, on some games you can't on ps3...

I have to disagree with this!

Unless you have got over a grand to splash out on the top gaming pc which after that your biggest screen is in the 20' screen zone, then the money to upgrade it every year to keep up with new graphics of games i think your better off with the new slim 120gb ps3 for £250 and with full HD is the best in my honest opinion.

But we all have our different preferences though.

What? Are you living in the dark ages? You don't need £1,000 to get a top-end PC. The biggest screen also isn't in the 20" zone, I can play any game I choose through my PC on my 40" TV without any issues whatsoever. There are monitors in excess of 24" widescreen and I actually chose to buy a 22" widescreen as I didn't need anything greater.

It is also not necessary to upgrade the graphics card or memory every year either. I'd also like to point out that at present for whatever reason, both the 360 and PS3 are struggling to reproduce things that PC's are due to the speed at which the PC hardware market is moving and that in itself is causing prices to drop a lot more quickly than they did many years ago.

On the matter in hand, I've always plsyed Pro Evo on PC and won't switch to a console. The only reason I play FIFA on PS3 is because EA refuse to bring a number of their next-gen games to PC due to the time it takes to develop and the low return on PC sports games as a whole.

pc is the the exact same for editing, its excellent for patching. the xbox can equally be patched if you have a modded console. i dont remember any framerate issues on xbox for 2009? however my pc certainly has the specs to comfortably play pes09 and yet it is seemingly always very slow despite my specs far outweighing the recommendations. the graphics look no better however when people patch they can do better work with stadiums and stuff. PC is the best platform, providing you have the money to buy a good enough pc which would cost more than either console. i like it mainly for the patching and thats it, its ok having patches on xbox but getting your console modded then booted off live aint worth it. the extra faces and stadiums is always going to make it superior, they can make patches ontop of the game using your harddrive as storage so you get loads of extras like faces and stadiums. pc is best for any game so long as you have the hardware.

Maybe, but at least he doesn't need to worry about viruses, software conflicts etc...

PC's are great, but only if you have sufficient technical ability to get the most out of them. Some people do like to just dip in and out of games. You know Sweey, see the sun, or breathe some fresh air? Not really the PC users thing though...

Oooh, look, me of all people using sterotypes :faceplm:

Really guys, does it actually matter?

I see the sun and breathe fresh air through my PC. Its that sophisticated :smug: - I dip in and out of games more than anyone and its easier on my trusty PC.

Yes it matters - just like the PES v FIFA battle is more important than life itself and sparks a massive rise in suicides around this time of year.
